San Juan is famous for its bars, casinos and nightclubs. This port has everything to please in order to experience culture, history or feast in every corner of the city. Basse-Terre is recognized as being an island of the wind with the neighboring island Nièves. It is also famous for its highest mountain in the east of the Caribbean which is called the Grande Soufrière. One of the must-see is the Brimstone Hill Fortress which is 800 feet above sea level and where you will have an impressive view of the other neighboring islands on a clear day. Basseterre has a volcanic past, you will see black sand beaches and even volcanic rocks. Without forgetting, that you can also simply enjoy its beaches and rest.
The port of Philipsburg is located on the Dutch side of the island, very close to Great Bay beach and the city center for shopping, a small meal on the boardwalk, or the casinos. You can also take an excursion and go around the island to discover the French side and its largest city Marigot, its port. The island have also many beaches.
