Flight from Montreal to Cape Town in economy class

Arrival in Cape Town, welcome and transfer to the hotel. Free time to sit comfortably and enjoy the facilities of the accommodation. Overnight at the hotel.

This day will be dedicated to the discovery of the Cape, nicknamed "the mother city". You will visit the Castle of Good Hope, the Company Garden, the Malaysian district of Bo-Kaap and its multicolored houses, then you will meet one of its inhabitants, who will welcome you home. Dinner in one of the restaurants in the neighborhood. Afterwards, ascent of Table Mountain by cable car*, which offers breathtaking views of the city, the port and the bay. Return, then supper and overnight at the hotel. *Weather permitting.

Start exploring the Cape Peninsula with a cruise to Duiker Island from the port of Hout Bay*. This island is a sanctuary for thousands of fur seals and a multitude of seabirds, such as Cape Fools, cormorants and seagulls. Afterwards, drive to the nature reserve of the Cape of Good Hope. Upon arrival, visit the reserve with its landscapes, fauna and flora, which make this place unique in the world. Dine at a local restaurant before continuing to Boulders Beach. In this place that has become a paradise for birds, you can see, among other things, a colony of penguins from the Cape. Continue with the discovery of the Victoria & Alfred Waterfront, the former docks of Cape Town transformed into a commercial and cultural center. Dine in one of the marina restaurants before returning to your accommodation. Overnight at the hotel. *Weather permitting.

Departure for an orientation tour of the charming town of Stellenbosch with the church square and small narrow alleys, reminiscent of the European atmosphere and architecture. Continue with a tour of the cellars including a wine and cheese tasting as well as the discovery of local techniques used to make a grape cluster a quality wine of international renown. You will dine on the property. Afterwards, you will be transferred to Cape Town Airport for your flight to Durban. Upon arrival, welcome, then drive to your accommodation. Supper in an Indian restaurant. Overnight at hotel.

In the morning, discover the city of Durban including Golden Mile, the liveliest waterfront in the country with its many attractions and entertainment. Durban, nicknamed the "spice city", is a city with a strong Indian influence. Explore City Hall, the incredible Indian Market of Thousand Flavours and the Mosque, followed by a visit to the Botanical Garden. Dinner in town in a restaurant, then free afternoon. Afterwards, return, free supper and overnight at the hotel.

Journey to the St Lucia estuary. Upon arrival, board the boat for a cruise to discover the rich heritage of this park classified as a UNESCO World Natural Heritage. Dear ornithologists, or simple amateurs of local fauna, prepare to discover more than a hundred different species of birds as well as hippos and crocodiles. You will dine on board the boat before returning to the port to resume the road towards Hluhluwe. On arrival, installation, then supper and overnight at the lodge.

Wake up early and depart for a 4x4 safari to Zulu Nyala or Hluhluwe Game Reserve*. Large herds of impalas, wildebeest, zebras, buffaloes as well as giraffes, leopards, hyenas and cheetahs thrive within this vegetation spread over 4,500 hectares. Return to the lodge and breakfast. You will continue with the discovery of Lavumisa. You will discover lush fields of sugar cane and the vastness of the savannah, where are scattered Swazi villages. You will dine in a local restaurant before returning to the accommodation. Upon arrival, set up, then free time. Supper and overnight at the lodge. *Subject to availability.

After breakfast, you will explore the Swazi candle making workshops in the village of Malkerns. During the week, you can see the artists at work. Discover the happy valley, where you can stroll through the small markets and admire the local crafts. Visit of Ngwenya glassworks, a company with a real social function. Entrepreneurs collect glass and bring it to the glassworks in exchange for a fee, a way to combine environmental protection and economic development. Afterwards, enjoy a traditional dinner in a local restaurant. You will continue the day with the discovery of the cultural village of Matsamo, an educational place that offers visitors an introduction to the culture and traditions of the Swazi people. The tour will combine dance show and traditional folk songs. Go on a 4x4 safari in the heart of the famous Kruger National Park. With over 12,000 elephants, 27,000 buffaloes and 1,000 leopards, the famous "Big Five" (lion, leopard, elephant, rhino, buffalo) is well represented. Kruger is home to 147 mammal species, 517 bird species and six different ecosystems. The 4x4 vehicle allows you to approach the vegetation while your experienced ranger tracks fresh tracks. In the late morning, a stop at one of the rest camps in the park will allow you to stretch your legs, refresh yourself and dine in one of the restaurants on site. Then routw to your accommodation at . Arrival and installation for 2 nights. Supper and overnight at the lodge thereafter.

Breakfast. then departure to the elephant sanctuary of Haziview where you can visit the place and interact with the magnificent creatures that"it hosts.Depending on availability dinner will be taken at the sanctuary or lodge. Rest of free time at the lodge to enjoy the environment and refresh. Supper and overnight at the lodge.

Departure for the discovery of the canyon of the Blyde River, about 800 meters deep. You can see hippos, crocodiles or some bush animals that walk at the foot of the canyon, such as impalas. On the panoramic road, you can enjoy the view of the major sites of the Window of God and the Three Rondavels. Afterwards, you will dine at a local restaurant before joining Pilgrim’s Rest. This former gold mining village has been classified as a historic monument. Its houses were restored, showing a ghost town, mirror of a page in the history of South Africa. Then drive to your accommodation. Upon arrival, set up, dine and overnight at the hotel.

In the morning, drive to Middelburg, home of The Corn and Cob. Upon arrival, visit this incredible place followed by free time giving you the opportunity to discover for yourself the village of the Ndebele people, located a few steps from the farm. Afterwards, you can enjoy a good dinner in the heart of the farm. Then drive back to Pretoria for a panoramic tour of the city. Then transfer to your accommodation in Johannesburg. Dinner at Le Carnivore restaurant and overnight at the hotel.

Journey to Maboneng District located in the heart of Johannesburg. Tour with a local specialist guide in the eclectic neighborhood of Maboneng in Johannesburg, dedicated to graffiti and “Street art”. Dining out in Johannesburg. Then, you will continue with a visit to the Apartheid Museum. At the end of the afternoon, return to the hotel. Dinner and night.

Then breakfast, departure to SOWETO. Tour of SOWETO and you will continue with a visit to the Nelson Mandela museum before enjoying free time (depending on flight schedules). Dining at a “shebeen” This name is given to a type of local restaurant that was once a speakeasy. Then, transfer to Johannesburg airport for your return flights to Montreal.
