Flight from Montreal via Paris to Delhi.
Arrival at Delhi International Airport. Direct transfer to your hotel. Overnight accommodation at the hotel.
Breakfast. Day dedicated to the discovery of Delhi with visit of the old city and the Jama Masjid mosque, the largest in the country. You will pass the Red Fort, then the chandni chowk (old market), and visit the Sikh Temple Bungla sahib. Dinner in a local restaurant. In the afternoon, continue with a visit to the Gandhi Museum and Qutub Minar. Overnight at the hotel.
Transfer to Delhi station where you will take the train ( with air conditioning), by direction Ajmer with breakfast on board. Transfer to Pushkar then dinner. Discover Pushkar, considered one of the most sacred places in India where thousands of Hindus come every year to make their pilgrimage. Overnight at the hotel.
Breakfast. Departure by Jeep to the Manvar camp (Thar region), located in the desert. Dinner en route and stop in a Bishnois village to attend the Opium ceremony with the sages. Settled on comfortable cushions at the camp, you will enjoy a supper on the dunes, with the soft music Râjasthâni and the movement of the dancers. Overnight at the camp. * OPTIONAL: Camel ride - CAD 10 PP payable on site.
Breakfast. Drive to Jodhpur, the "blue city" of Rajasthan. The palaces, forts and temples bear witness to the imperial grandeur and genius of its craftsmen of yesteryear. Dine at a local restaurant, visit the Jaswant Thada temple where you will enjoy views of the old town, followed by exploration of Meherangarh Fort. End of the day free. Supper and night in Jodhpur.
Breakfast. Drive to Udaipur, the "White City", steeped in romance by the multitude of palaces built around Lake Pichola. Dinner along the way in a local restaurant. In Ranakpur, visit a magnificent Jain temple, there are followers only in India and Rajasthan, built temples of unparalleled splendor. Arrival in Udaipur. Supper and overnight at the hotel.
Breakfast. Udaipur, splendid city of Dawn, seems to emerge from the waters. Visit the Jagdish temple, followed by the City Palace crowning Lake Pichola with its balconies, towers and domes. This is the largest palace complex in Rajasthan. Dinner in a city restaurant, followed by a cruise on Lake Pichola. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.
Breakfast and free time. Departure by road to Bijaipur . Installation at your hotel and dinner. Afternoon free you could walk around the village for an approach to the local population. Supper and overnight in Bijaipur.
Breakfast. Departure to Bundi. On arrival, dinner in a local restaurant. Continue with a visit to Fort Tara Garh, a stunning ruin with stunning views. Then visit the historic site of Raniji ki baori, with its sculptures on pillars. Enjoy free time on foot in the old town to discover the many artisans. Supper and overnight at your hotel.
Breakfast. Departure to Jaipur, the "Pink City". The vibrant capital of Rajasthan has the particularity of housing red sand houses giving the city a pink hue, color of hospitality. Visit the Maharajah Palace, part of which is still inhabited by him. You will participate in a demonstration of the port of Saree*. Dinner and overnight at the hotel. *Experience: Saree or Sari is a traditional garment worn by women in South Asia.
Breakfast. Go on an excursion to Amber, famous for its Fort that you will reach by elephant. Its steep walls, its stone facade and the winding road leading to the inner palaces, emphasize the concern to ensure the security and defense of the city of the first inhabitants. After dinner, take a rickshaw ride to the Palais des Vents. For your evening attend a Bollywood movie screening at the Rjmandir Theatre. Supper and overnight at the hotel.
Breakfast. Departure for Agra. In road race visit Abhaneri and wells dates from the sixteenth century. Dinner in road race. Arrive, check-in at the hotel and free time . supper and overnight at the hotel.
At sunrise discover the Taj Mahal. This white marble mausoleum adorned with precious stones is the supreme symbol of eternal love and continue with the visit of the Red Fort. Dinner in a local restaurant. At the end of the day, visit Taj Mahal by the other side of the river MEHTAB BAGH with a magnificent view of TAJ MAHAL at sunset. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.
Breakfast. then departure to Delhi. Installation at your hotel or rooms will be available for day use . Dinner at the hotel and transfer to Delhi airport for your return flights to Montreal via PARIS.
