Departure from Montreal to Nairobi via Paris in economy class. Dinner and overnight on board.

Arrival in Paris, change of aircraft and flight to Nairobi. Arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport in the early evening, reception and assistance at Nairobi Airport. Our French-speaking guide will be waiting for you in the arrival hall with a welcome sign. Transfer to the hotel and overnight stay.

Morning breakfast and departure around 7 am with your driver-guide to the Nairobi National Park to try the animal show and avoid lingering at the park door. Founded in 1949 on an area of 117 km2 this park located on the outskirts of the city is ideal for a first discovery of African wildlife, or to conclude a stay. Herbivores, zebras, buffaloes, gazelles are at ease in this setting from which emerge the silhouettes of giraffes. Visit the Sheldrick Wildlife Trust Elephant Orphanage, a touching place founded by Lady Daphne Sheldrick in memory of her husband, the eminent naturalist who was also curator of Tsavo East Park. Free lunch then visit the pearl factory of Kazuri and the farm of Karen Blixen, the inspiration of the film "Out of Africa". Continue to the "Langata Giraffe Center", another orphanage but the latter for Rothschild giraffes. This extremely endangered species was saved from extinction by the dedication of Lady Leslie Melville, whose mansion can be seen nearby. You can feed these elegant ladies from the top of a platform installed for this purpose. Free time for shopping. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.

After breakfast, departure by road through beautiful landscapes to the lake region, in the rift valley. Arrival at Lake Naivasha (UNESCO), a Ramsar site, and boat ride to Crescent Island Bird Sanctuary and guided walk through the sanctuary. This place of incredible richness avifauna shelters, in others, a large number of pelicans, cormorants and eagles-fishermen … Between hippos grazing at the end of the day, giraffes born on the peninsula and returning to give birth to the same place, this site offers a magical landscape and a feeling of freedom and wilderness. Free dinner and overnight at the lodge. Naivasha Sopa Lodge or similar

Breakfast and departure from Naivasha by road to Amboseli National Park. Depending on the road conditions the trip will take almost 6 hours through landscapes of great beauty. From Naivasha (1900m above sea level), the road climbs the Rift Valley escarpment to Limuru (2500m) known for its tea plantations, and then descends to Nairobi (1661m). From Nairobi, the road leads south and east, mainly through open meadows, descending at an altitude of 1145m to Amboseli. Arrival at the lodge in canvas camp. Installation for 2 nights. Amboseli Sopa Lodge or similar

After breakfast, morning safari in Amboseli National Park. Return to hotel for lunch and rest. Then, in the afternoon, safari again in Amboseli Park. Dinner and overnight at camp.

Breakfast and, around 09:00, departure from Amboseli by road to Tsavo West. Arrival at the lodge, Severine Safari Camp, or similar, overnight facility and dinner. In the afternoon safari to discover the National Park of West Tsavo. With its component of East Tsavo, the park extends over 20812 km2. It is the largest park in Kenya and one of the largest in Africa. During your safari, you can also meet many mammals including; cheetahs, elephants, leopards, buffaloes, Masai giraffes, spotted hyenas but also more rare species such as the caracal, kudu or the Hunter’s damalisk (or Hirola), a critically endangered species. One of the particular features of the West Tsavo is undoubtedly its "black-mane lions", very difficult to spot nevertheless. The day of walking will end with a visit to the springs of Mzima. Dinner at the camp.

Breakfast, departure from Tsavo West and drive to Taita Hills for dinner then visit the small museum of the history of the reserve. Continue by road to your lodge for accommodation for 2 nights at the Salt lick Safari lodge and to prepare you to leave late afternoon to discover Taita Hills. Private sanctuary in the mountain range of the same name and renowned for the variety of its landscapes and the richness of its fauna, Taita Hills will seduce you. With an area of 110 km2, this reserve is home to a very rich fauna; lions, giraffes, dik-diks, cheetahs, impalas, elephants or buffalo, are among the main residents. A highlight for nature and wildlife lovers.

Wake up early for a sunrise photo safari at Taita Hills Sanctuary. Return to the lodge for breakfast then safari again, in the morning, in the animal sanctuary of Taita Hills. Return to the lodge again for dinner and rest. Then, in the afternoon, around 4pm, afternoon safari to Taita Hills. Dinner and overnight stay at the lodge.

Early in the morning, around 6:30 am, we will have another safari in the animal sanctuary of Taita Hills. Return to the lodge, breakfast and departure for the Tsavo Est National Park. With 13747 km2, it is separated from Tsavo West (9065 km2) by the railway connecting Nairobi to Mombasa of which it is equidistant. No fence separating the two components of the park, animals can move freely. On arrival, accommodation at the camp for 2 nights. Man Eaters Camp or similar and dinner. Then, in the afternoon safari in the park (Tsavo East) aboard your circuit vehicle. With the exception of the Yatta plateau resulting from one of the longest lava flows in the world from an extinct volcano (Ol Donyo Sabuk), its desert and flat landscapes will allow you to discover all the richness of its fauna; Grant gazelles, zebras, impalas, bubales de Coke, giraffes or lions, are easily observable. Elephants and buffaloes are common and are often grouped into large herds of several hundred heads. Supper and overnight at camp..

Early morning safari in Tsavo East National Park. Return to the camp for breakfast and a relaxing morning at the camp. Then dinner, followed by an afternoon safari to Tsavo East aboard your tour vehicle. Dinner and overnight at camp.

As we did yesterday, we will still go to the park early in the morning around 6:30 for a photo safari and return to the camp around 9:30 for breakfast. Then it will be the time of departure to take the train to the coast for a 5-night seaside stay. The driver will leave the Camp around 10:00 am so that we will be at Voi station around 11:30 am and it will be imperative for us to have our breakfast on time. Our train leaves from the VOI station at 12:00. A very nice two-hour walk between the 2 Tsavo West and Tsavo East whose railway is the demarcation and the route will be entirely in the national reserve ** Once arrived at Mombasa station, the guides based in Mombasa will come to meet us to take us to Diani on the shores of the Indian Ocean. Arrival and accommodation at the hotel for 5 nights. Baobab hotel or similar. **If for any reason the train was not possible the journey will be by road.

Breakfast. Check out from the hotel room at 10:00 a.m. Free morning and lunch. Around 3:00 pm transfer to Mombasa airport and flight to Nairobi from where you will take your international flights back to Montreal.
