Departure from Montreal airport to Casablanca in economy class.
Reception at Casablanca airport, then drive to Rabat with photo stop and exterior discovery of the great Hassan II mosque in Casablanca. Lunch on your arrival in Rabat. Installation, then city tour: Oudayas garden, Hassan tower, Mohamed V mausoleum and the royal palace. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.
Departure to the white city of Assilah. Discovery of the ancient Carthaginian city. Lunch, then drive to Cape Spartel. A stop is planned there to enjoy the incredible view that this place offers. Road to Tangier. Thanks to its ideal location on the Strait of Gibraltar, Tangier quickly becomes an important stage for trade. Even today, it is the second largest economic city in the country. On arrival, visit the city, the Petit and Grand Socco, the Mendoubia garden and the Kasbah Museum. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.
Departure for Tetouan. On arrival, orientation tour and discovery of the medina, a UNESCO heritage site. Continuation to Chefchaouen. Lunch and installation at the hotel. Walk to discover the charm of the medina and its blue houses. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.
Depart for Volubilis, an ancient Roman city that prospered from the olive oil trade. Visit of the archaeological site, then continuation to Meknes. On arrival, explore the ancient imperial city, founded in the 11th century. Lunch, then drive to Fez, the spiritual capital of the country. Installation, dinner and overnight at the hotel.
Visit of the new city, then continuation to the heart of Fez: the medina. Listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, this medina will captivate you with its history, its architecture, its craftsmen and its labyrinth of alleys. Lunch in the heart of the medina during the visit. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.
Departure for Ifrane, which will introduce you to a completely different setting. Ranked 2nd cleanest city in the world, Ifrane offers a green landscape and unique architecture. Departure to Erfoud via Midelt, where a stop will be made for lunch. On arrival, orientation tour of the city, then dinner and overnight at the hotel.
Departure to Rissani to discover the Moulay Ali Chérif mausoleum, founder of the Alaouite dynasty reigning over the country for more than 300 years. Return to Erfoud. Lunch, then departure in 4x4 towards Merzouga, famous for sheltering the highest dunes of Morocco. Installation, then departure for a camel ride. Dinner and overnight in the tent.
Early in the morning, enjoy the magnificent sunrise over the dunes, followed by breakfast at the camp. Return to Erfoud and continuation to Tinghir. Continuation to the magnificent gorges of Todra and Dadès. Lunch, then drive to Ouarzazate. Installation, dinner and overnight at the hotel.
Visit of Ouarzazate, a striking mix of oases and kasbahs. Then, discovery of the Taourirt kasbah. Departure to Aït-Ben-Haddou for a snack and mint tea stop. Having dinner. Continuation to Marrakech. Listed as a UNESCO heritage site and a major imperial city, it is a must-see on your trip. Lunch and free evening or optional activity (1). Night at the hotel. Day dedicated to the visit of Marrakech, including a visit to the Bahia Palace, the Saadian tombs, the Koutoubia minaret, the bewitching Jemaa el-Fna square and the souks. Lunch in the heart of the medina during the visit. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.
In the morning, discover the flavors of Moroccan gastronomy through an introductory course in Moroccan cuisine. Having dinner. Free afternoon or possibility of optional activity. Dinner and overnight at the hotel. Optional: Visit of the exteriors of Marrakech (ramparts, Menara and Agdal gardens) and the Majorelle garden. To be reserved and paid on site (around 165 MAD).
Departure to Essaouira. En route, stop at an argan oil factory. This light nutty oil is produced from the argan tree, a tree endemic to Morocco. It is used for cooking and for its cosmetic properties. Arrival in Essaouira and installation at your hotel. End of the day free. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.
Discovery of Essaouira, then departure for Casablanca. Stop in El-Jadida, "Mazagan", for lunch and a visit to the old town. Continuation to Casablanca. On arrival, panoramic tour of the residential district of Anfa, the United Nations Square, the Habous district, the Royal Palace and the Corniche. Installation at the hotel, then farewell dinner with entertainment at the Sqala. Night at the hotel.
Breakfast. Transfer from hotel to Casablanca airport and return flight to Montreal.
