Arrival at Lisbon airport, welcome by your guide. Continue to Sintra to visit its 14th century Palace and transfer to your hotel. Welcome supper at the hotel. Accommodation in Lisbon for 2 nights.
Visit Lisbon with the historic heart of the city, the Belem Tower, the magnificent Jeronimos Monastery, masterpiece of Manueline art, the Maritime Discoveries monument built in 1960, the Alfama district. Tonight, departure on foot through the city to take the funicular of Gloria which will take you to the belvedere S. Pedro de Alcântara to admire the city and the Castle Saint-Georges. Dining in an Restaurant, located downtown.
Departure to Tomar (ancient city of the Templars) where you will visit the convent of Christ. Afterwards, visit Fatima one of the most important places of pilgrimage in Europe, followed by Nazaré. Dinner in a restaurant. Accommodation in Nazaré for 2 nights.
Visit of Nazaré whose name would be due to a statue of the Virgin brought back from Nazareth. Will follow the city of Batalha and its Gothic monastery. Continuation with the medieval city of Obidos. Dinner in a restaurant.
Visit the medieval city of Coimbra, it houses the most famous university of Portugal followed by a Fado show. Free time. Continue to the city of Aveiro nicknamed "the Portuguese Venice". Accommodation in Porto for 3 nights.
Visit to Porto. You will see the historic center, the cathedral and the most typical district of the city; the Ribeira, will follow the visit of the Bolsa Palace. Visit a Porto winery (with tasting), followed by a one-hour cruise on the Douro. You will have the chance to visit the fresh produce market of Mercado do Bulhão. Inaugurated in 1914 and built in the neo-classical style, it is one of the liveliest places in Porto where it is good to stroll to discover the good Portuguese local products and exchange with the locals. Rest of the afternoon free. Dinner in a restaurant.
Visit the medieval city of Guimaraes, cradle of Portugal with its Palace of Duques de Braganza. Continue to Braga with its Sanctuary of Bom Jesus.
Departure to Amarante, town home to the famous monastery of Saint-Gonçalo, followed by the Douro Valley (with its famous vineyards producing Porto). Dinner in a 19th century wine producing mansion, the 'Quinta de Castelinho'. Accommodation in Viseu for 1 night.
Visit to Castelo Novo, one of the historic villages of Portugal. Visit Marvão, a town perched at an altitude of 900 m. Accommodation in Évora for 1 night.
Visit of Évora, classified World Heritage by Unesco. Afterwards, visit a cork factory (Portugal being recognized as the largest producer of cork in the world). The opportunity to learn more about the manufacturing process. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.
