Flight from Montreal to Hanoi via Doha in economy class.
Stopover at Doha airport, including overnight in Doha. Then flight to Hanoi.
Arrival, welcome by the guide at Hanoi International Airport then orientation tour of Hanoi: the mausoleum of Ho Chi Minh (outside) and its office house, built on stilts and visit the pagoda to the One Pillar. Discover the famous Ha Long Bay, a UNESCO World Heritage site. It's a veritable maritime labyrinth of nearly 3,000 sugar-loaf-shaped islands and islets. You will then board a junk for a two-day cruise. After dinner on board, you'll visit the exceptional islands and caves in the heart of the bay. The day begins with a tai chi session on the boat's terrace, followed by a buffet brunch. You'll then disembark at the Ha Long quay. You'll then drive to Hanoi to reach the airport for your flight to Hué. On arrival, you'll be transferred to your accommodation. Dinner and overnight at your hotel.
Morning at leisure to relax or discover Hué at your own pace. In the afternoon, you'll visit the city of Hué, the soul of Vietnamese culture. You'll discover the Imperial City, the Palace of Supreme Harmony and the Forbidden Purple City. Continue with a visit to the beautiful Thien Mu pagoda, built in 1601 and the symbol of the city of Hué, then board a traditional boat for a cruise on the Perfume River. Dinner and overnight at your hotel.
In the morning, you will depart for Hoi An along a picturesque road between the sea and the mountains. This road overlooks magnificent beaches and crosses the famous Col des Nuages. Along the way, you will stop in Da Nang to visit Linh Ung Pagoda. After lunch at a local restaurant, you will have free time to stroll along the beach. You will resume driving and make another stop in a fishing village before returning to your accommodation in Hoi An. Dinner and overnight at hotel.
Visit of Hoi An, a charming town classified as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The tour will include the discovery of classical Vietnamese architecture, still very present in Hoi An, with its covered bridge and ancient houses made of precious wood. Afterwards, you will stroll along the alleys and silk stalls. You will lunch in a local restaurant before joining the workshop of a local craftsman specializing in a traditional skill in Hoi An: lantern making. In the morning, you will be transferred to Da Nang Airport for your flight to Ho Chi Minh. Upon arrival, you will be taken to your accommodation to settle in. Departure by coach from Saigon to Cai Be in the Mekong Delta (approx.100km).
