The country's official currency is the Gourde (HTG), but prices are often displayed in Haitian dollars (5 gourdes for 1 Haitian dollar) or in U.S. dollars.
Electrical outlets used in Haiti are the same as in Canada. Voltage however is 110V. Plan ahead and bring a converter in your luggage.
