It is your responsibility to certify that you are at least 18 years of age and that you have the legal capacity to enter into this Agreement, to purchase online in accordance with the terms and conditions set forth therein. You also assume full financial responsibility for your use of CheaperVacations.com®'s secure transactional site and certify that all the information provided by you or users of your computer is true and accurate. Remember that false or misleading statements made in connection with a purchase may constitute an offence subject to criminal prosecution.
It is your responsibility to have in your possession all travel documents, passports, visas, and vaccinations required by the authorities of the countries where you will be staying, and this, at your own expense. If you don't know what documents to obtain, please contact the consulates or embassies of the countries you are planning to visit. Any traveler who does not have the required travel documents in their possession may be denied access to the plane or entry to the transit country or final destination. In such a case, cancellation fees will apply and CheaperVacations.com® disclaims all liability.
CheaperVacations.com® or any of its representatives can never be held responsible for a traveler that doesn't have the required travel documents. When you book on our website, you acknowledge that the agency is not responsible for informing the traveler or giving advice.
Some special documents may be required for minors traveling alone or for a single parent traveling with one child or more. CheaperVacations.com® can never be held responsible if you do not have such documents. CheaperVacations.com® recommends all its customers that their passeport be valid during the whole stay and that it still be valid at least 6 months after they return from their trip, whatever destination they visit.
The purchase of travel services is subject to the tour operator and/or supplier's conditions and limitations, to your vouchers, and tickets. The general terms and conditions of tour operators and suppliers are accessible on this site and it is your responsibility to read them. When you enter your credit card number to purchase a trip, you confirm that you have read and acknowledge the present general conditions and those of the tour operators and/or suppliers. It is important to know that tour operators and suppliers generally charge a fee in case of a cancellation or modification. You should pay close attention to the deadlines for presenting yourself to the airport check-in counters (usually 3 hours prior to departure), to service availability at destination, and to possible flight and hotel changes. It is the traveler's responsibility to always confirm the schedule, for any carrier, and this, within 24 hours from departure. Flights must always be confirmed 24 hours and less prior to departure.
As CheaperVacations.com® is not involved in the preparation, organization and delivery of products and services at destination, including vacation packages and any types of travel services which tour operators and suppliers are responsible for, it disclaims all responsibility for any potential damage, loss, theft, accident, or injury that may occur.
All travel services that you purchase on this website are subject to availability. All prices mentioned on CheaperVacations.com® are in Canadian dollars, unless otherwise stated, and include federal and provincial taxes. CheaperVacations.com® is not responsible for any price changes that may occur before you have completed your online purchase.
Some jurisdictions regulate the advertising of travel product prices by imposing tour operators and suppliers to indicate only (or in a very explicit way) the total cost to be paid for the advertised travel services (including taxes, services charges and/or other incidental fees). This rule does not apply in all Canadian provinces.

Information and prices of travel services are provided directly by tour operators and/or suppliers. It is possible that misprints and other types of errors occur. Consequently, CheaperVacations.com® and its suppliers always reserve the right to correct prices and charges applicable to products and services offered on the website without prior notice and without liability to you or to any third party. In addition, CheaperVacations.com® cannot guarantee that the products and services advertised on the site will be available at the time you wish to buy them.
The travel services you buy must be paid, either by making a deposit and paying the balance due on a specified date, or in full at the time of purchase by credit card directly on the website. If you choose the deposit option, failure to make the final payment on the specified date will result in the cancellation of your booking and the total amount of the deposit will be lost. CheaperVacations.com® is in no way responsible for payment omissions. You can pay with Visa, MasterCard, American Express, all this subject to tour operators' restrictions.
It is only when you provide your credit card number, either for the required deposit or the final payment of your booking that the contract is concluded and finalized. This also means that you accept all the supplier's general terms and conditions. Before this, you have no obligation towards CheaperVacations.com® and the suppliers are not bound by any obligation whatsoever. When providing your credit card number on CheaperVacations.com® transactional website to pay for a travel service, you immediately commit to paying the required deposit and the balance due on the specified date or the full amount. It doesn't matter if the purchase was made by you or by another person with access to your account; you are bound to pay for the trip, whether you have traveled or not. If the cardholder is not one of the travelers, it is possible that CheaperVacations.com® cancel your booking. It is very important to call us as soon as possible to verify the credit card used by a third party payer. If CheaperVacations.com® does not receive confirmation from the thrid party payer within a maximum of 24 hours following your booking, it could be canceled at CheaperVacations.com®'s sole discretion and you will have to book again. Please note that rates and available may change in the meantime.
At the time of booking, you must inform us of all your special needs (wheelchair access, food restrictions, etc.) by adding the appropriate comment in the * SPECIAL REQUESTS * field. Although we do everything we can to accommodate you, we cannot guarantee that all requests will be met. Special requests are not part of the contractual obligations of any stakeholder involved in your booking.
In the event that an unpaid file is transferred to our recovery agency, a 35% fee will be added to the total overdue amount.
If you wish to cancel your online purchase, you must communicate immediately and verbally with us. Under no circumstances will sending an e-mail or leaving a message in a voice mailbox without getting an answer from one of our travel agents cancel your online purchase. Once your purchase is complete, you are subject to the tour operators and supplier's cancellation and modification fees. You must then refer to their general terms and conditions. In addition to the fees charged by tour operators and suppliers, CheaperVacations.com® will charge a fee ranging from $25 to $100 per person or $100 per 1file in case of cancellation or modification made to a purchase.
Once you have completed your online travel purchase, CheaperVacations.com® will send you an e-mail confirming the details of your trip. Make sure this information matches the products and services you have bought and please refer to this e-mail for any other request regarding your purchase. It is imperative that the name on your travel documents be exactly the same as the one in your passport. As a general rule, the supplier delivers the tickets and/or vouchers to CheaperVacations.com® within 21 to 14 days prior to your departure.
CheaperVacations.com® strongly recommends to its customers to take out insurance that covers certain events that may occur before, during, or after your departure. CheaperVacations.com® works with a preferred supplier, Manulife, to provide its Canadian customers with insurance coverage. You are fully responsible for your decisions with respect to taking out travel insurance or not. Under no circumstances can you claim that CheaperVacations.com® has not recommended that you take out travel insurance. Insurance policies have limitations and exclusions, in particular, but not exclusively in the case of pre-existing medical conditions. There also are precise time limits and procedures for making a claim. CheaperVacations.com® does not assume any responsibility in case of coverage refusal by the insurer, for whatever reason. If you decide to cancel an insurance purchased through Manulife and CheaperVacations.com®, you have to notify the insurer within 48 hours. Any request for reimbursement will be made according to Manulife's general terms and conditions or that of the insurer you have chosen and according to the laws in force in the province of Québec. Cancellation and/or service charges may apply.

Unilateral modification of the contract price will be permitted under the following conditions:
The price of travel products and services may be increased in the event of an increase in taxes, fees, or charges authorized by a competent authority in connection with fuel, or an increase in the exchange rate between the date of booking and the date of application of the increase.
If the increase due to a fuel surcharge is higher than 7% (excluding GST and PST) the customer can choose between the cancellation of the contract with full refund or a replacement product offered by the travel agent (the customer then has to pay for any price difference). No changes can take place within 30 days prior to service provision.
Regarding an increase in the exchange rate (maximum 5%):
There can be an increase in the price of travel products and services if the exchange rate difference is higher than 5% (compared to what it was at the time of booking) at 45 days prior to departure.
When the contract is concluded in writing remotely, for example, via the Internet, the travel agent is exempt from the obligation to inform the customer orally about the content of this clause provided that such information is expressly brought to the customer's knowledge. When the contract is concluded remotely and orally, e.g. over the telephone, the travel agent is exempt from the obligation to inform the customer in writing of the content of this clause on the condition that the contract is transmitted to the customer within 15 days of its conclusion.
This amendment to the law came into force on June 30, 2010.
