The country's official currency is the Balboa (PAB). U.S. dollars are generally accepted across the country, but small bills are advised due to the heavy presence of counterfeit money.
Electrical outlets used in Panama are the same as in Canada. The same goes for voltage and frequency (120V and 60Hz).
