The Turks and Caicos Islands is home to the only conch farm in the world. These endangered molluscs are emblematic of the country. During an exciting guided tour, you will learn a lot about the species and the history of the islands. You will never have seen so many giant shells in your life! Update: The Conch Farm is closed until further notice due to the damages caused by Hurricane Irma and Hurricane Maria in 2017.

The country's official currency is the U.S. dollar. Credit cards are also accepted in hotels as well as most stores and restaurants. ATMs can only be found in Providenciales.
