They will assist you with your transfer to your hotel.
Start your day bright and early with a light breakfast. After checking out, meet your local representative, who will assist with your transfer to Jorge Chávez International Airport for your flight to Cusco, the former capital of the Inca empire.
This charming half-day tour of Cusco combines history, living culture and art. Discover how Andean and Spanish traditions from the past and present coexist and harmonize in the Imperial City. Our visit begins at San Pedro Market, Cusco’s oldest, designed in 1925 by Gustave Eiffel and still bustling with local vendors. We’ll then explore the Koricancha temple, once the Inca center of sun worship, later transformed into the Santo Domingo convent, with its baroque façade rising over solid Inca walls—an emblem of cultural fusion. Next, we’ll ascend to Sacsayhuaman, a monumental Inca fortress known for its massive carved stone walls, and continue to Kenko, a ceremonial site dedicated to celestial worship. Finally, we’ll visit the Cathedral, built atop the palace of Inca Huiracocha, home to a rich collection of Spanish-era goldwork and paintings from the Cusco School of Art.
After an early breakfast and check out, set off on a full-day adventure with the Essence of the Sacred Valley tour, a journey into the heart of one of Peru’s most breathtaking and culturally rich regions.
Begin in Chinchero, where communities still follow the Inca ayllu system and proudly wear traditional clothing. Visit the Parwa Cultural Center to learn about natural dyes, traditional weaving techniques, and watch artisans at work, with the chance to purchase handmade pieces. A short walk takes us past the Nuestra Señora de Monserrat Church to the archaeological complex, once an Inca agricultural and livestock centre with terraces and aqueducts. Continue to Moray, a fascinating archaeological site where concentric terraces created varied microclimates for crop cultivation. Enjoy a typical lunch in the valley, followed by a visit to Ollantaytambo, a former Inca military, religious and agricultural hub. Set on a mountainside, it offers stunning views and a glimpse into Inca urban planning, preserved in its stone streets, market and vibrant Andean spirit.
After an early breakfast and check-out, get ready to embark on the unforgettable highlight of your journey, a full-day, 10-hour* adventure to the legendary Machu Picchu**!
The adventure begins aboard the train to Aguas Calientes, also known as Machu Picchu Pueblo, a picturesque town at the foot of the emblematic Inca citadel. During the train ride, enjoy the natural beauty of the surroundings, with impressive views of majestic mountains, the Vilcanota River and small towns of the Peruvian Andes. After a short bus ride from Aguas Calientes, you’ll reach one of the Seven Wonders of the Modern World. From there, explore the ancient ruins to learn about the history of this mystical and impressive place. Surrounded by incomparable landscapes, there will be no shortage of spectacular photo opportunities! Once recharged with the magical energy of Machu Picchu, make your return to Aguas Calientes, where you will have free time to have lunch and explore the streets a bit before boarding your return train.
Spend a peaceful morning in Aguas Calientes, where time seems to slow down beneath the misty peaks of the Andes. Cradled by lush mountains and the gentle flow of the river, this charming village invites you to soak in its tranquil atmosphere and Andean spirit. Those looking to enrich the experience may choose an optional tour, either returning to Machu Picchu ($) or exploring Aguas Calientes, adding a deeper layer of discovery to their time in this magical setting.
After breakfast and check-out, you'll be transferred to Alejandro Velasco Astete International Airport for your flight to Lima.
After breakfast, meet your local guide in the hotel lobby and set off on an exciting half-day tour! Uncover centuries of history, vibrant culture, and stunning architecture that tell the story of this captivating city.
Today’s tour reveals two fascinating sides of the city — its modern elegance in Miraflores and San Isidro, and its historic charm in the UNESCO-listed old town. As we travel through its districts, you’ll see how the old and new blend seamlessly in landmarks such as the Museum of Italian Art, Palace of Justice, and Plaza San Martín.
Explore the heart of the city on foot at the Main Square, surrounded by the Government Palace, Cathedral, and Archbishop’s Palace. Visit the Convent of Santo Domingo, home to the relics of Peru’s three saints — Santa Rosa de Lima, San Martín de Porres, and San Juan Macías.
Finally, discover the renowned Rafael Larco Herrera Museum, with its 45,000 pre-Hispanic artifacts, exquisite jewelry, textiles, and the famous “erotic room” — a unique glimpse into ancient fertility symbolism.
After breakfast and check-out, the hotel-airport shuttle transfer will take you to Jorge Chávez International Airport for your return flight to Canada.
