Foreign nationals visiting the state of Quintana Roo are required to pay a tourist tax (Visitax) of 351 MXN (21 USD). This requirement doesn’t apply to the following travelers:
Travelers visiting other states in Mexico;
Mexican nationals.
The payment can be made online before or upon arrival in Mexico. Travelers are required to provide proof of payment.

All tourists must pay an environmental sanitation fee ($).
