Services offered

A visit to the clinic includes a meeting with a travel health nurse to discuss topics such as food, mosquitoes, hygiene conditions while travelling, etc. The nurse will assess your needs based on your age, health status, destination, and type of trip. She will help you choose from the vaccines recommended by the Quebec Travel Health Intervention Guide and will update your routine vaccinations, such as those for tetanus, measles, shingles, influenza, etc. If necessary, she will provide you with a prescription for antibiotics and/or medication for malaria or altitude sickness. She will also inform you of the risks and precautions to take while traveling.
