For fans of James Cameron's blockbuster film Avatar, Disney has a one-of-a-kind attraction in store!
Indeed, Pandora: The Land of Avatar will open in the Animal Kingdom area at Walt Disney World in Florida by the end of 2017. Under construction since 2014, the first sketches were recently unveiled by Disney. A special video offers a glimpse of the breathtaking fantasy landscapes, reminiscent of the magnificent images from Cameron's film, released in theaters in 2009. The world of Pandora will offer several unique attractions, including a flight simulator, a water ride, and moonlight shows!
It's worth noting that Cirque du Soleil is currently preparing a show that will transport us into the world of Avatar. It is expected to premiere in Montreal by the end of 2015, followed by a world tour to more than 350 cities, according to Cirque CEO Daniel Lamarre.
