Important Notice – Employment Negotiations at WestJet

WestJet and the Canadian Union of Public Employees (CUPE), representing WestJet cabin crew, have reached an agreement in principle, ending the work stoppage and network-wide operational disruptions, and resulting in the withdrawal of strike and lockout notices.

We will communicate information related to the resumption of activities as soon as it becomes available.

To offer you greater flexibility and peace of mind, if you have a reservation with Sunwing Vacations or WestJet Vacations Quebec that includes WestJet flights departing between July 30 and August 6, 2026, you can make a one-time change or cancellation to your reservation free of charge. Please note that if a change to the package results in a higher price, the difference will still apply.

Option 1: Modify your reservation

• You can change your destination and travel dates without paying any change fees.

• Please note that the price of your package may change. Any price increase will apply. If the price is lower, the difference will be refunded as a travel voucher.

Please contact us at 1 844 727-2437 to make changes to your reservation.

Option 2: Cancel the reservation

• You can cancel your booking without cancellation fees and receive a full refund in the form of a travel voucher.

• The voucher can be used for a future booking and will be subject to its expiry date and all applicable booking conditions.

Customers already at the destination

• You can change your flight to depart earlier, without any change fees or fare difference. Subject to flight availability.

• To request a refund for unused hotel nights, please complete the customer service form . All eligible refunds will be issued as travel vouchers.

• You can extend your holiday without modification fees or cost difference for the flight component of your package, but any additional hotel costs are your responsibility.
