Proof that we're an agency like no other!

Tuesday, February 3, 2015, 5 p.m. On Highway 20, a coach makes its way to Brossard. Inside, more than 45 employees of Voyages à Rabais and Tours Amérique chat, laugh, and eagerly await their arrival. At the same time, palm trees stand proudly in a guard of honor in front of the entrance to the new Voyages à Rabais branch, braving the cold. And behind the windows, draped in black curtains for the occasion, all hands are on deck…

A few minutes later, the guests began to arrive. That evening, the Voyages à Rabais travel agency in Trois-Rivières became a head office, and the brand-new location at 9840 Leduc Blvd. in Quartier Dix30 became the agency's first branch! Hooray!

Everyone was there: in addition to the media (V télé, TVA, La Presse, and others), representatives of suppliers, hotel chains, insurance companies, the elite of the field, indeed! Not to mention the employees from Trois-Rivières, who, thanks to the coach chartered for the event, were able to go and fraternize with their new colleagues and lend a hand for a most successful evening.

Why go all out? It's simple. Not only is Quebec's largest travel agency expanding, but it's doing so in an unconventional way. The new Brossard branch offers a concept never before seen in the travel industry. Sylvie Myre, President of Voyages à Rabais, delivered an enthusiastic speech explaining that they will be focusing on self-service: "What could be better than being guided by one of our experts through all the features of our online platform?"

Therefore, clients who visit the advisors based in Brossard will have the following choice:

1. Benefit from the “assisted self-service” option by using the Macs or iPads made available to them;

2. Settle comfortably into an armchair to browse through travel magazines and brochures;

3. Opt for a traditional meeting with an advisor in a secluded office.

Of course, in all cases, advisors remain available to customers to answer all questions as soon as they are asked.

The evening of February 3, 2015, was one of the most important in the history of Voyages à Rabais. Not only could you feel the excitement of our guests, but also that of our employees. And to that excitement, we must add pride.
