Another step towards normality in the travel industry!

 

Sunwing Vacations will also offer, in collaboration with Manulife, free COVID-19 insurance coverage when you book your next vacation.

 

As part of the Safe with Sunwing commitment, this new insurance will cover emergency or quarantine medical expenses incurred abroad.

What you need to know about Sunwing’s COVID-19 Emergency Medical Certificate of Insurance:

 

·         You’ll automatically receive coverage at no additional cost to you if you book an all-inclusive vacation package (including Sunwing Airlines flights) or an air only booking (on board Sunwing Airlines) between September 17th, 2020, and October 31st, 2020;

·         The plan is applicable for departures between October 16th, 2020 to May 31st, 2021, for a maximum duration of 21 days of travel;

·         Coverage includes, but is not limited to, medical consultations, specialty care, hospital admittance, surgery, cost of air ambulance, if medically necessary, and intensive care;

·         Emergency Medical Insurance covers you up to $200,000 CAD for the reasonable and customary expenses you could incur as a result of a positive COVID-19 test result during your trip.
