Voyages à Rabais, the largest travel agency in Quebec, is pleased to announce its partnership with Alexandre Neault for his innovative Horizon 360 project. This ambitious project consists of a 3000 kilometer crossing in the turquoise waters of the Caribbean aboard a jet ski.
Far from being just a means of transportation, the Horizon 360 project invites you to experience an unparalleled adventure. Alexandre Neault won't just be using his Sea-Doo to cross these magnificent waters; he'll be living, eating, and even sleeping on board for a large part of the journey. This challenge begins in Florida, passes through Cuba, and ends in the Bahamas, with the goal of showcasing incredible landscapes, meeting extraordinary people, and sharing the unfiltered realities of a sea voyage, as if you were there.
This project is much more than a personal adventure. Alexandre Neault has decided to provide invaluable assistance to the victims of a tragic accident that recently occurred in Ciego de Ávila, Cuba, where a collision between two buses resulted in several deaths and injuries. Fog made visibility extremely difficult on the road, and this accident has left an indelible mark on the local community. As part of his Horizon 360 project, Alexandre has launched a GoFundMe campaign to help the injured. The funds raised will be used to purchase wheelchairs and cervical collars for the victims to support their recovery. Once the fundraising goal is reached, the transport of the equipment from Quebec to Cuba will be provided free of charge by Sunwing, one of our partners.
“We are extremely proud to support Alexandre Neault in this unique and profoundly human project,” said Sylvie Myre, President of Voyages à Rabais. “Horizon 360 embodies the spirit of adventure, discovery, and above all, solidarity with those in need. With this gesture, Alexandre demonstrates how important it is to commit to others, even in the midst of such an ambitious adventure.”
Alexandre Neault is deeply affected by the scale of this accident and is determined to help the victims of this tragedy. "This crossing is not only a personal challenge, but also a way to contribute to something bigger. I am honored to have the support of Voyages à Rabais and to share this adventure while helping those in need in Cuba," he said.
Voyages à Rabais and Alexandre Neault invite all travel and adventure enthusiasts to follow this spectacular crossing which will begin in the coming days, which promises not only to discover magnificent destinations, but also to change lives through solidarity and mutual aid.
