Catamaran ride

Mount Isabel de Torres 

You definitely should visit Mount Isabel de Torres, from where you will have a magnificent view of the entire region. Have your camera ready! At the top, you will find the city's iconic statue, reminiscent of Rio de Janeiro’s Christ the Redeemer.


Damajagua Waterfalls

Do not miss Damajagua Waterfalls! There you can relax in natural springs and bathe in paradisiacal caves, in addition to seeing some endemic exotic birds.

Currency

The country's official currency is the Dominican Peso (DOP). U.S. dollars and credit and debit cards are also accepted at tourist resorts. Remember to communicate the dates of your stay in the Dominican Republic to your banking institution if you plan to use your cards on the island.
