This 4-star resort is located on a white-sand beach in Playacar, approximately 5 km from Playa del Carmen and 60 km from Cancun Airport. This small resort offers rooms with stunning ocean or garden views. Ideal for couples, groups of friends, and families, the hotel boasts numerous amenities to keep guests entertained, including a games room, two lighted tennis courts, two swimming pools, and a kids' club (ages 4-12) with supervised activities.

The rooms are in dire need of renovation. The thatched roofs let in every sound. The buffet was repetitive. On our departure day, we no longer had our wristbands, and services end at 3 pm, so if you leave later, there's no possibility of eating. The Air Transat shuttle didn't pick us up for the return transfer to the airport.

Les chambres auraient grandement besoin de rénovation. Les toits en pailles.laissent passer tous les bruits. Buffet répétitif. La journée du départ nous n’avons plus de bracelet, les services terminent à 15h si vous quittez plus tard pas de possibilité de manger. La navette de Air Transat n l’est pas venue nous chercher pour le transfert du retour vers l’aéroport.

A lovely little resort, just the way I like them, with fewer than 300 rooms... a 5-minute walk from the lobby to the sea. The staff is very courteous and friendly. The resort is very clean, as are the public restrooms. We ate very well, and the à la carte restaurants were also very good. It was a bad week for the sea, as there was a lot of sargassum seaweed when we arrived. The only downside, in my opinion, is the lack of consistent shade, because the pool area has a kind of woven canopy, and we were never 100% protected. Otherwise, a very nice holiday at the Allegro Playacar.

beau petit complex comme je les aimes, moins de 300 chambres......5 minutes de marche du lobby jusqu'à la mer. le staff est très courtois et gentils. le site est très propre et les toilettes publique aussi. Nous avons très bien manger et les restos à la carte très bon également. mauvaise semaine pour ce qui est de la mer, car bcp de sargasses a notre arrivée. le seul coté négatif selon moi,c'est le manque de place avec de l'ombre constante, car à la piscine, c'est un genre de toile entrecroissé, et nous sommes jamais protégé a 100%. Sinon de très belles vacances au Allegro Playacar.

Good hotel, Playacar area, nice, upscale, and safe. Superb beach, though with sargassum seaweed like everywhere else. Good, varied, and hot food. The poolside restaurant is great for lunch only; the buffet doesn't have outdoor seating. You have to ask in the morning for bananas and often pineapples! Friendly and helpful staff! Very well-maintained resort!

Bon hôtel, secteur Playacar, joli riche et sécuritaire. Superbe plage avec Sargasses cependant comme partout autour. Bonne nourriture, variée et chaude. Restaurent bord de piscine super pour le midi seulement par contre; le buffet ne donne pas accès à l’extérieur. Doit demander le matin pour obtenir des bananes et souvent les ananas! Personnel avenant et gentil! Site très bien entretenu!
