Beautiful place but a little lacking in renovation

Hotel with a paradise beach

People come here primarily for the beach. Be prepared for long bus journeys from the airport to the hotel due to traffic. On Friday at 5 PM, what should have taken 1.5 hours actually took us 4 hours. However, the ocean views and a stunning sunset quickly put a smile back on my face. Only those who are aware of this should be warned. The idyllic beach quickly made me forget this minor inconvenience. It was worth it. A small hotel for people who love the beach. It's not a place for swimming. Everything is close by. An intimate atmosphere, no partygoers. A very quiet place for early birds. Some employees stood out, but many were very rude, even when we tipped them. The rooms are clean, and the air conditioning works well. I had room 9207 and had no complaints. The buffet is very limited but overall very good. The à la carte restaurants only offered three options, one of which (Asian) was only open once a week, and we missed it. We were left with only two choices. The Italian was very good, and so was the Caribbean. The jerk chicken is a must-try here. The best chicken ever. I loved this hotel on every level. The only downside: beach towels are hard to come by in the morning. They're left on the chairs, so if you arrive later, there won't be any left. Also, the beautiful round beach loungers are infested with red ants and sand or cat fleas. We got several bites in a single day. I recommend this resort to people who want to enjoy the beach in absolute peace and quiet. If you want to party, this place isn't for you. Furthermore, the swim-out option isn't worth it in my opinion. Nobody swims in the pools; they're too cold, there's no privacy, and the beach is less than 2-3 meters away. There's no bed in the water, just a ladder leading to the pool. Much less interesting for the price. Very few people were seen enjoying it.
Ont viens ici essentiellement pour la plage. Prévoyez des heures interminables de bus pour se rendre de l'aéroport à l'hôtel à cause du trafic. Vend 17 hrs ce qui devait prendre 1:30 nous a réellement pris 4 hrs. Par contre la vie sur l'océan avec un superbe coucher de soleil m'a vite redonné le sourire. Personne avertis seulement. La plage paradisiaque m'a vite fait oublier ce léger désagrément. Ça aura valu la peine. Petit hôtel pour personne qui aime la plage. Ce n'est pas un endroit pour faire de la piscine. Tout est a proximité. Spectacle intime, pas de fêtards. Endroit très tranquil pour couche tôt et lève tôt. Certains employés ce sont démarqués mais beaucoup sont très bêtes alors que l'on donnait du pourboire. Les chambres sont propres, la clim fonctionne bien. J'avais le chambre 9207 et rien à redire. Le buffet est très limité mais somme toute très bon. Les restaurants à la carte offrait que 3 options sont un(asiatique) ouvert qu'une fois semaine et nous l'avons manqué. Il nous restait que 2 choix. l'Italien est très bon et le caraïbéens aussi. Le poulet jerk est un incontournable ici. Le meilleur poulet ever.

Seul bémol: les serviettes de plages difficile a se procurer le matin. Elles sont déposer sur les chaises si vous arrivez plus tard il n'y en aura plus. De plus les beaux lits de plage rond sont infestés de fourmis rouge et de puces de sables ou de chats. Plusieurs piqûres en une seul journée.
Je recommande ce resort aux gens voulant faire de la plage dans le calme absolu. Si vous voulez faire la fête cet endroit n'est pas pour vous.
De plus, l'option swim out selon moi ne vaut pas la peine ici. Personne ne se baigne dans les piscines, trop froide, pas d'intimité et plage paradisiaque a moins de 2-3 mètre. Il n'y a pas de lit dans l'eau seulement une échelle qui mène à la piscine. Beaucoup moins intéressant pour le prix. Très peu vus de gens en profiter.
