Upon arrival, we were offered a free room upgrade. We had booked the Romance room on the 4th floor (no elevator) and were given a suite with two bedrooms and two bathrooms on the 1st floor. Minor issues with the room were quickly resolved. There are only two places to eat, but only one is open at a time. The resort is very peaceful. The beach is beautiful and ideal for walking because the sand is firm. Plenty of beach chairs are available. No need to reserve early in the morning. Many palapas are also available. There is a dolphin park nearby. Several boats are anchored in front of the hotel.

Dès notre arrivée, on nous a offert d'upgrader notre chambre sans frais. Nous avions réservé la chambre romance sise au 4e étage (sans ascenseur) et on nous a accordé une suite avec 2 chambres, 2 salles de bain au 1er plancher. Petits problèmes à la chambre ont été réglés rapidement. Seulement 2 endroits pour manger mais un seul ouvert à la fois. Site très tranquille. La plage est très belle et idéale pour marcher car le sable est dur. Beaucoup de chaises disponibles à la plage. Pas besoin de réserver tôt le matin. Beaucoup de palapas disponibles aussi. Il y a un parc de dauphin tout près. Il y a plusieurs bateaux ancrés face à l'hôtel.

We stayed from April 29th to May 7th. Although we read reviews before our trip, the hotel and its location did not live up to the written reviews, nor to the 5-star rating on the website. The beach has beautiful fine sand. However, it's a marina with several boats moored there. Swimming in the area where gasoline-powered boats are anchored is not recommended. Furthermore, there are unpleasant odors coming from the dolphin training area, as well as from the marina itself. The hotel is generally clean. Services are difficult to access. Many people don't understand English, not even basic English. For example, they might ask, "Can I have a beer?" There's only one loudspeaker for music on the entire property, which the activities coordinator drags around everywhere, from the pool to the beach. There's no music at the pool. There's not much entertainment. There's no real lobby. There are three bars on the property, two of which are on the beach. No waiter service at the pool, which would have been nice.

La propreté générale de l'hôtel est bien.

Services difficiles à obtenir. Les gens bien souvent ne comprennent pas l'anglais, même pas base. Par exemple, "can I have a beer".

Un seul speaker pour la musique sur le site que la personne des activités traînent partout de la piscine à la plage. Pas de musique à la piscine. Pas beaucoup d'animation.

Sunwing provided a lack of information. We never saw a representative; we waited for one the day we were supposed to have a meeting, but he never showed up. There was no information about our return flight posted anywhere. The entertainment staff weren't very involved in the activities, and there wasn't much entertainment in the evenings. Otherwise, it's a very nice place, with beautiful rooms. The food was excellent, and it was very clean. The staff was very friendly. I would definitely go back.

Manque d’informations de la part de Sunwing. Nous n’avons jamais vu de représentant, nous l’avons attendu la journée que nous devions avoir une réunion, mis il n’est jamais venu. Pas d’information sur notre vol de retour d’afficher nulle part. Les animateurs ne s’impliquaient pas trop dans les animations. Et le soir pas beaucoup de spectacle. Sinon, très bel endroit,chambres magnifiques. Nourriture excellente. Très propre. Personnel très sympathique. J’y retournerai sans hésiter.

Very nice hotel. There could have been a few more chairs at the pool and beach, but otherwise it was really very good.
