Barcelo Bavaro Beach

We stayed 14 days at the hotel and everything was perfect! Just a 12-minute walk from our room to the golf course was wonderful! The beach is wide with beautiful palm trees and plenty of sun loungers, so obviously no close neighbors. The cleanliness is impeccable. All the rooms have a partial sea view, which is magnificent. The food at the buffet is very varied and excellent. The Gourmet restaurant is top-notch, especially its Chateaubriand, which is succulent! The Brisas restaurant is also very good at lunchtime, located right on the seafront – wow! It transforms into an à la carte restaurant in the evening! Lunch at the Coral restaurant is fabulous too! We often go to the buffet because it has everything to satisfy us, but sometimes we opt for Hoyo 19 or the Coral, which transforms into a seafood restaurant in the evening. The golf course is very good and the staff are friendly. The rooms are clean and refreshed year after year! Kudos to this hotel for its impeccable upkeep. The product offering at this hotel is multiplied because you have access to the Palace section which is huge! Restaurant, boutique, theatre, bowling alley, nightclub, bar etc… after 11 golf and beach stays at this hotel it remains our favorite for quality and price.

Nous avons séjourné 14 jours à l’hôtel où tout était parfait! Que 12 minutes de marche de notre chambre pour se rendre au golf est un bonheur! La plage est large avec de beaux palmiers et plusieurs transat disponible, donc évidemment pas de voisin proches. La propreté des lieux est irréprochable. Les chambres ont toutes une vue partielle à la mer, c’est magnifique. La nourriture au buffet est très varié et excellente. Le restaurant Gourmet est à un niveau élevé avec son châteaubriant qui est succulent! Le resto Brisas est aussi très bon le midi situé au bord de mer Wowww! Il se transforme en restaurant à la carte le soir! Les déjeuner au restaurant Coral sont fabuleux aussi! Nous allons très souvent au buffet car tout y est pour nous satisfaire mais quelques fois nous optons pour le Hoyo 19 ou au Coral qui se transforme en restaurant fruit de mer le soir. Le golf est très bien et les employés sont gentils. Les chambres sont propres et rafraîchis année après année! Bravo à cette hôtel pour l’entretien des lieux qui est impeccable. L’offre de produit ce cette hôtel est multiplier car vous avez accès à la section Palace qui est immense! Resto,boutique, théâtre, bowling,discothèque,bar etc… après 11 séjours de golf et de plage à cette hôtel cela demeure notre coup de cœur pour la qualité et le prix.

It was difficult to sleep well... There was a lot of echo, staff talking very early in the morning and late at night, and the sound of furniture being moved from the upper floors could be heard throughout the hotel. There was also a lot of sargassum seaweed from July 20th to 26th, 2026. Aside from these negative aspects, we will return for the golf and the good restaurants.

Difficile de bien dormir...Beaucoup d'écho, discussion entre staff très tôt le matin et tard le soir, le déplacement des meubles des étages supérieurs est entendu partout dans l'hotel. Beaucoup de sargasses du 20 au 26 juillet 2026. MIse a part ces aspects négatifs, nous retournerons pour le golf et les bons restaurants.

Everything was perfect, impeccable service, good food and relaxation were guaranteed.
