The cleanliness of the grounds and rooms is excellent, as is the quality and variety of the food. The setting is beautiful, with lush gardens. Furthermore, the staff is friendly and provides excellent service. The beach is lovely and well-maintained, and the pools are superb. However, reservations at the à la carte restaurants can sometimes be difficult. Occasionally, access to the water from the beach can be rocky.

Great vacation despite a few minor hiccups

Lots of sargassum seaweed, minor issues with the rooms, staff okay and great location, decent food, enjoyable pool activities

Beautiful vegetation

We stayed for four nights. It's a large resort with access to all four basic hotels (Beach, Caribe, Colonial, and Tropical). There was quite a bit of sargassum seaweed, so we only went to the sea once to see the turtles (opposite the Jaguar Statue between the Tropical and Palace hotels). It was worth it. They're working hard on the resort to remove the sargassum, but that's nature. As a result, we spent more time in the pool than usual; luckily, we had an adults-only pool that wasn't too crowded. There were many Transat representatives on site, almost all day long. Based on what we met there, the half-day Tullum-Coba excursion was very enjoyable. For the à la carte restaurants, we went to Mexico Libdo and were very satisfied with the generous portions; I recommend it. La Fuente was okay, but we wouldn't go back. The Strikers bar is interesting, with a small buffet available at all times and activities for an extra charge (pool, bowling, mini-golf, arcade). The mini-putt was nice, we had a lot of fun, and it's free until 7 pm. We enjoyed our stay, but we won't be back.
Nous avons passé un séjour de 4 nuits. Un grand site, accès aux 4 hotels de base ( Beach, Caribe, Colonial et Tropical). Les sargasses étaient assez présentent, nous avons été à la mer une seule fois pour voir les tortues 🐢 ( vis à vis Statue Jaguar entre Tropical et Palace) ça vaut la peine. Ils travaillent fort sur le site pour enlever les sargasses mais c’est la nature. On a donc fait plus de piscine qu’a l’habitude, par chance nous avions une piscine adulte pour trop achanlandé. Beaucoup de représentant de Transat sur place et ce presque toute la journée. Selon nos rencontres là-bas, la sortie Tullum Coba (1/2journée) a été très apprécié.
More... Less...Restaurant à la carte, nous avons fait Mexico Libdo, très satisfait et très bonnes portions, je recommande. La Fuente, correct, nous n’y retournerai pas. Le bar Strikers est intéressant, petit buffet en permanence et activités payantes ( pool, quilles, mini-putt, arcades). Le mini-putt était agréable m, on s’est bien amusé, il est gratuit jusqu’à 19h00. On a bien aimé notre séjour, mais nous reviendrons pas.

Not at all the hotel's fault... the sea, rocks, sargassum, and palm trees don't provide shade like palapas. Aside from that, the staff everywhere were excellent, the grounds were beautiful and clean, and the vegetation superb! The room was clean, but the bathroom could use a bit more maintenance, though it was clean nonetheless!
Aucunement faute de l'hôtel...mer roches et sargasses et palmiers ne donnent pas ombre comme des palapas.
More... Less...A part ça personnel partout A1 beau site propre et végétation superbe! Chambre propre mais salle de bain manque un brin d'entretien mais propre malgré tout!
