These are the worst holiday we have had. As it was during the holiday season, from December 26 January 2, there was no on-site staff. The safety deposit box was not working and they took three days before coming to fix it and we had to up the pace. But from that moment we did not have towels for 3 days. There was someone who came to clean but never cleaned the bathroom. The sink, the soap, the champlures and bath remained dirty throughout our stay. We had the privilege of a close restaurant but there was only the same three people to serve 7 am to 22h. We knew that in Cuba, the food was more than usual, but this one was terrible. The buffet always had the same tasteless. The restaurants were not much better: we tried to cut a steak without success, another evening, a lamb steak seemed more appropriate to level the table to be eaten. As for vegetables, they seemed ... more elastic than cooked. Resto Italian, Cuban or Spanish, really terrible ... poutine Belle Province would be a treat next to what we ate. On our flight back, we ate a smoked meat on the plane Sun Wing which we thought was a feast, that's saying something ... Positive: Beautiful place. This is great .The bar and buffet staff were very outgoing. Negative: As this was a great site, we would have appreciated having regular shuttles, but as it was understaffed, it also lacked shuttles. 26, 27, 28, 29, 30 and 31 December, there were no lights on the way. And presto, miracle, 31 at night, the lights are finally on. The evening of December 31, it is necessary to book because it will be a special dinner ... it is still the same people who serve 3 for 7 hrs in the morning, that seem exhausted and we understand that. Our booking was 8:30 p.m. ET is finally can only enter to 9:10 p.m. to eat a 'steak ribs' or lobster, oops there are more, because our table neighbors do confirm. And do not think the dessert either, it is no more either. We prefer to go to see what happens in the Lobby as it is supposed to be music, a show, we are lucky because there is a shuttle that runs. But arrived there it nothing happens. There are more mosquitoes than musicians, then goes to the theater to see a tribute show to Michael Jackson .... the singer takes his hat that ends on the customer table in front of us and breaks glasses placed there. Finally, for that matter we return to our room quietly aboard a shuttle. The employee seems in a hurry to come back because we do trip in seconds.

Ce sont les pires vacances que nous ayons eues. Comme c'était durant la période des Fêtes, du 26 déc. au 2 janvier, il manquait de personnel sur place. Le coffret de sécurité ne fonctionnait pas et ils ont pris 3 jours avant de venir le réparer et on a du monter le ton. Mais à partir de ce moment, nous n'avons pas eu de serviettes de bain durant 3 jours. Il y avait quelqu'un qui venait faire le ménage mais ne nettoyait jamais la salle de bain. Le lavabo, le savonnier, les champlures et le bain sont restés sales tout au long de notre séjour. Nous avions le privilège d'un resto proche mais il n'y avait seulement que les 3 mêmes personnes pour servir de 7h le matin à 22h. Nous savions qu'à Cuba, la bouffe, était plus qu'ordinaire, mais là, c'était exécrable.
Le buffet avait toujours la même chose sans goût. Les restos n'étaient pas beaucoup mieux: nous avons essayé de couper un steak mais sans succès, un autre soir, un steak d'agneau semblait plus approprié à niveler la table qu'à être mangé. Quant aux légumes, ils semblaient plus élastiques...que cuits. Resto italien, cubain ou espagnol, vraiment pas terribles...la poutine de la Belle Province serait un festin à côté de ce qu'on a mangé.
A notre retour en avion, nous avons mangé un smoked meat sur l'avion Sun Wing qui nous a semblé un festin, c'est peu dire... Positif : Bel endroit. C'est très grand .Les employés de bar et du buffet étaient très avenants. Négatif : Comme c'était un très grand site, nous aurions apprécié avoir des navettes régulières, mais comme il manquait de personnel, il manquait aussi de navettes. Les 26, 27, 28, 29 , 30 et 31 décembre, il n'y avait pas d'éclairage sur le chemin. Et hop ,miracle, le 31 au soir, les lumières se sont enfin allumées. Le soir du 31 décembre, on est obligé de réserver car ce sera un souper spécial...ce sont encore les 3 mêmes personnes qui servent depuis 7 hres le matin, qui semblent épuisées et nous le comprenons. Notre réservation est 20h30 et on ne peut entrer finalement que vers 21h10 pour manger un ''steak ribs'' ou du homard ,oups il n'y en a plus, car nos voisins de table se le font confirmer. Et ne pensez pas au dessert non plus, il n'y en a plus non plus. Nous préférons partir pour aller voir ce qui se passe au Lobby car il est sensé y avoir de la musique, un spectacle, Nous sommes chanceux car il y a une navette qui passe. Mais arrivé sur place, il ne se passe rien. Il y a plus de maringouins que de musiciens, puis on se dirige vers la salle de spectacle pour voir un spectacle hommage à... Mickael Jackson. le chanteur tire son chapeau qui termine sa course sur la table de clients devant nous et brise les verres qui y sont placés. Enfin, tant qu'à faire on retourne à notre chambre tranquillement à bord d'une navette. L'employé semble pressé de revenir car nous faisons le périple en quelques secondes seulement.

Cute little hotel for those who love peace, for adults only. Located at the tip of the peninsula, the Blau Privilege is within walking distance or shuttle through the hotel Blau Marina. Positive: - Located next to the hotel Blau Marina, it is easy to enjoy the benefits of the adjacent hotel, while being able to hide the need of side Privilege (Cayo Libertad, if need peace -. Lovely little bar terrace ( Cigar house) - background music in the evening, very nice (adults only) -. swimming pool with sea view - private restaurant for the Blau Privilege customers -. lovely rooms, huge balconies -. Approximately 1.5 mile walk to go to the beach of Marina Blau (good for health) or take the shuttle. - Access to great restaurants (Spanish and Italian) and Privilege Cayo Libertad restaurant is good -. Access to medical services on site , a * - Very good staff shuttles. Negative: -The hotel Blau Privilege Cayo Libertad is a decent hotel. 4 * undoubtedly. -The hotel could use a touch of paint and maintenance of its facilities (we see tiles in the roof open and flowing rust on balconies in the rain), a small adjustment would be beneficial to this side. - The rooms on the side of the marina are beautiful but noisy during the day (work in construction side of the marina beginning work at 7:30 in the morning until 5:00 p.m. + -) knock, knock, knock, and trucks that move back and forth. - System shuttle between the two hotels not always reliable. - Staff very nice though and doing their best shuttles. - The room was not made on the last day, probably an oversight ... - The big downside side Privilege is the beach - there is no service, no bathroom, very very basic ; it is better to go off Blau Marina where the beach is sublime. In the end, I do not know if it's worth going the privilege side, if only for the Cigar House (terrace bar) in the evening which is quite nice (great service) and of course the pool without turbulence! In my opinion, a 4 * -4.5 *, but not a 5 * in Cayo Libertad Blau. I put the notes into account the two lowest hotels.

Petit hôtel mignon pour ceux qui aiment la tranquillité, pour adultes seulement. Situé à la pointe de la péninsule, le Blau Privilege est accessible à pied ou en navette via l'hôtel Blau Marina. Positif : - Situé à côté de l'hôtel Blau Marina, il est facile de jouir des avantages de l'hôtel adjacent, tout en pouvant se retrancher au besoin du côté Privilège (Cayo Libertad, si besoin de paix.
- Beau petit bar-terrasse (Cigar house)- musique d'ambiance le soir, très agréable (adultes seulement).
- Piscine avec vue sur la mer.
- Restaurant privé pour clients du Blau Privilege.
- Chambres très belles, balcons immenses.
- Environ 1.5 km à pied pour se rendre à la plage du Blau Marina (bon pour la santé) ou prendre la navette.
- Accès à des restaurants très bien (espagnol, italien), et le restaurant du Privilege Cayo Libertad est bien.
- Accès à des services médicaux sur place, un plus*
- Très bon staff aux navettes.
Négatif : -L'hôtel Blau Privilege Cayo Libertad est un hôtel correct. Un 4* sans aucun doute. -L'hôtel aurait besoin d'une retouche de peinture et d'entretien de ses installations (on voit des tuiles ouvertes sous la toiture et rouille coulant sur les balcons sous l'averse), un petit ajustement serait avantageux de ce côté. - Les chambres situées du côté de la marina sont magnifiques mais bruyantes le jour (travaux en construction du côté de la marina avec début des travaux à 7:30 le matin jusqu'à 17:00 +-) toc, toc, toc, et camions qui avancent et reculent. - Système de navette entre les 2 hôtels pas toujours fiable. - Staff des navettes très gentil cependant et faisant leur possible. - La chambre n'a pas été faite le dernier jour, un oubli sans doute ... - Le gros bémol du côté Privilège est la plage - il n'y a pas de service, pas de salle de bain, très très très basique; il vaut mieux aller du côté Blau Marina où la plage est sublime. Au final, je ne sais pas si ça vaut la peine d'aller du côté privilège, si ce n'est que pour le Cigar House (bar-terrasse) le soir qui est assez agréable (très bon service) et bien sûr la piscine sans turbulences! A mon avis, un 4*-4.5*, mais pas un 5* au Blau Cayo Libertad. Je mets les notes en tenant compte des deux hôtels plus bas.

Excellent hotel, very quiet, excellent food, especially the seafood that is served at will. Very friendly staff who are not begging. Access Blau Vadarero for shows and activities. Very large room. Positive: The best hotel I have visited in Cuba. Negative: None.

Excellent hotel, très paisible, la nourriture est excellente, surtout les fruits de mer que l'on sert à volonté. Personnel très chaleureux qui ne quémande pas. Accès au Blau Vadarero pour les spectacles et pour les activités. Chambre très grande. Positif : Le meilleur hotel que j'ai fréquenté à Cuba. Négatif : Aucun.
