I really enjoyed the hotel; it's beautiful, the complex is large, the buffet is plentiful, and the staff are welcoming. The beach isn't particularly nice, but I went there for the diving. The ocean is incredible, the coral is colorful, and so are the fish—sharks, rays, and all kinds of fish were there. Great trip!
J’ai bien apprécié l’hôtel, c’est super beau, le complexe est grand, le buffet est bien rempli, les employés sont accueillants. La plage n’est vraiment pas très belle mais j’y allait pour la plongée. L’océan est incroyable, les coraux sont colorés, les poissons aussi, requins, raies, poissons de toutes sortent au rendez vous. Super voyage !!

Total disappointment
Déception totale
The room was poorly maintained, the hotel is very old, the buffet restaurant is completely awful, and the à la carte restaurants are mediocre. I will never return to this hotel.
Chambre mal entretenu,hôtel très vieux,les restaurant buffet est complètement nul ,les restaurants a la carte médiocre. Je ne retournerai jamais a cet hotel.

Overall, the trip was very good. The room in block #1 was a bit dated, but very clean. The buffet and restaurants were excellent. The pools were always very clean. The beach was okay; we only had one day where we could swim because of the sargassum seaweed. Nothing prevented us from sitting and gazing out at the horizon. However, there wasn't much shade. The staff was super friendly. The drinks were excellent!
En général, le voyage était très bien. La chambre un peu vieillotte dans le bloc #1, très propre. Buffet et restaurants excellents. Les piscines toujours très propre. La plage correct, nous avons eu 1 journée baignable à cause des sargasses. Rien n’empêchait d’aller s’assoir pour regarder au loin. Par contre , Il n’y a pas beaucoup d’ombre. Le personnel super gentil. Les drinks étaient excellents!!

Service was excellent. Old resort. Maintenance required. Broken elevators. Broken furniture and fixtures in room. Main bar dated and tired compared to other resorts. Food was excellent. Travelled on a rating of 4.5 stars. Definitely not 4.5. Maybe 3.5? Only due to service. Not luxury as advertised

Sargassum seaweed is very prevalent and exposes the site to foul odors depending on the winds. The hotel tries to control the beach, but sometimes the seaweed problem is too much for them. The French restaurant is magnificent. The seafood restaurant doesn't have enough variety. The steakhouse serves an exquisite filet mignon. The service at the other restaurants is very average. The buffets are very varied, and most of the servers are pleasant and attentive. The room was extremely comfortable. The air conditioning worked well. The housekeeping service was impeccable. There's an elevator in the buildings. The grounds are clean. The entertainment is generally average; however, the show on the beach with fireworks and acrobatic dancing was world-class.

Les buffets sont très variés et la plupart des serveurs sont agréables et présents.
