There wasn't much to do, there were only a few customers...we felt really alone!

It's only a 4-star hotel because it has a spa. The rooms are more than just outdated and need renovation, not just a little TLC. That said, the "luxury" rooms—not to be confused with superior—are slightly better. On the plus side…hot water in the evening without any problems! That's something, at least! The management is honest and attentive. The staff is friendly and more cheerful than what I'm used to in the Dominican Republic. The beach wouldn't win any awards, but with the hotel seemingly only half full, there was no shortage of palapas or lounge chairs. The buffet wasn't too repetitive, and the beef and chicken were really good. No cheap wine, just tender, well-cooked meat. However, the alcohol provided is very basic, the "house brand" type. My biggest complaint is that there's no "specialty" coffee service in the morning before 10:00 AM. On the other hand, the coffee at the buffet is good. The Wi-Fi network is completely outdated and unreliable. No Wi-Fi in the rooms, only in the lobby and by the pool, and even next to the router antenna, it's slow and often cuts out. There are few air-conditioned areas. The buffet isn't air-conditioned and there's very little breeze. I wouldn't recommend the hotel, but I wouldn't advise against it either. From the outside, it looks like a 4-star, but the rooms are more like a 2 or 3-star. The rooms on the hotel's website are not representative, and even the receptionist confirmed this. We felt more like we were in Cuba than the Dominican Republic.

C’est un 4 étoiles seulement parce qu’il y a un spa. Les chambres sont plus que vieillottes et ont besoin de rénovation, pas seulement d’amour. Cela dit, les chambre « luxe » à ne pas confondre avec supérieur sont légèrement mieux. Point positif…eau chaude le soir sans aucun souci! C’est déjà ça!

Le management est honnête et prévenant. Le staff est sympathique et plus souriant que ce à quoi je suis normalement habitué en République Dominicaine.

La plage ne gagnerait pas de prix mais avec un hôtel semblant à moitié de sa capacité, ne manquait pas de palapas ou de chaises longues.

Le buffet n’était pas trop répétitif et le bœuf et le poulet était vraiment bon. Pas de tirant, juste de la viande tendre et bien cuite. Par contre, l’alcool fourni est vraiment de base, style « marque maison ».

Mon plus gros regret est qu’il n’y a pas de service de café « spécialisé » le matin avant dix heures. Par contre, le café du buffet est bon.

Le réseau wifi est totalement désuet et fluctuant. Pas de wifi dans les chambres, seulement au lobby et à la piscine et même à côté de l’antenne du router, c’est lent et ça lâche souvent.

Peu d’endroit climatisé. Le buffet n’est pas climatisé et très peu de vent s’y rend.

Je ne recommande pas l’hôtel mais je ne la déconseille pas non plus. De l’extérieur un 4 étoiles mais du point de vue des chambres, un deux ou un trois étoiles. Les chambres du site web de cet hôtel ne sont pas représentatives et même la dame de la réception me l’a confirmé.

Nous avions plus l’impression d’être à Cuba qu’en République Dominicaine.

The hotel is pleasant, but there are some areas for improvement. The nurse was cold and unwelcoming. During activities, the instructors spoke almost exclusively Spanish, making it difficult for other guests to participate. I also felt there was favoritism shown towards certain participants. I hope these points will be taken into consideration to improve the experience for all visitors.

L'hôtel est agréable, mais certains points sont à améliorer. L'infirmière était froide et peu accueillante. Pendant les activités, les moniteurs parlaient presque uniquement espagnol, ce qui rendait la participation difficile pour les autres clients. J'ai aussi eu l'impression qu'il y avait du favoritisme envers certains participants. J'espère que ces points seront pris en considération pour améliorer l'expérience de tous les visiteurs.

The hotel was very clean, the staff were amazing and very efficient. The food was excellent, only the buffet needed more fruit. The beach was beautiful and very clean, and there was lots of entertainment – we loved it!

If you're looking for a quiet place to relax, this is it. The staff are friendly and the beach is perfect for long walks.

Si vous chercher un endroit calme afin de vous reposer, ç’est la place. Le personnel est sympathique et la plage est parfaite pour marcher longtemps.
