The second largest city on the island of Cuba, Santiago de Cuba, was founded in the beginning of the 16th century. Rich in history, we can clearly see the French and Spanish influence in its architecture. Colorful, Caribbean-style, it offers an impressive view on the magnificent Caribbean Sea.
The staff is highly regarded for their friendliness and helpfulness. The food is considered good and varied, especially in the à la carte restaurants. Furthermore, the surrounding scenery, between the mountains and the sea, is often highlighted, and the cleanliness of the establishment is generally praised. However, the beach is sometimes considered unappealing due to its sand and the presence of seaweed. Additionally, the buffet food is occasionally found to be repetitive. Finally, the hotel sporadically shows signs of age, requiring some renovations.

We really like this hotel, it's sad to make the trip from Holgin when we know there is an airport in Santiago.
We would return every year if we could get a plane to Santiago, quiet place, friendly staff, food ok and cleanliness very good, activities good despite the few tourists

Beach chairs all broken Positive: Staff still welcoming Negative: Due to lack of supplies, a lot of things were missing

I enjoyed my stay at this place. It's obvious that this hotel could use some renovation, but it's nothing major. Very good value for money. Positive: The friendliness of the staff. The cleanliness of the room. Negative: No negative points to report.
