Managing the vendors on the beach. There are many of them, they're pushy and annoying. The food was excellent and better than last year.

It was my first time, and overall it was very good, but I would have preferred a renovated room on the second floor! Apparently, that was impossible! But all the staff were smiling and attentive…the only problem…I was repatriated…the issue wasn't the staff, but rather Sunwing's complete lack of organization with tourists left to fend for themselves without any answers!

C’était ma première fois, dans l’ensemble très bien, mais j’aurais préféré une chambre rénovée et située au 2 ieme étage! C’était impossible semble-il! Mais tout le personnel était souriant et attentionné…le seul HIC…j’ai été rapatrié…le problème n’était pas le personnel mais plutôt le manque total d’organisation de Sunwing avec les touristes laissés à eux mêmes sans réponse!

We stayed at this hotel in April. We've always gone to Cuba for its magnificent beaches. Unfortunately, Trinidad is an exception. The sand is coarse and the sea water isn't turquoise. It feels more like Florida. The hotel used to be splendid but is now neglected. There were only three porcelain cups for the entire hotel. In the lobby, they served our coffee in two plastic cups that warped in the heat. And at the buffet, coffee was served in water glasses. The food was unfortunately the worst I've eaten in Cuba. No fruit except papaya. We bought mangoes and bananas from a street vendor who came to the beach every day. Butter is only available upon request. There was one salt shaker for the whole restaurant. We ate rice and rice pudding for dessert all week. The waiters do their best to provide service, and the hotel staff is attentive and kind, but they don't even have cloths to clean the counters. They use fabrics full of holes and that look awful. We had seven days of beautiful weather with lots of wind. In the evenings, the mosquitoes were voracious, and we had to run from our room to the buffet to avoid being eaten alive. We didn't see any fogging system to keep them away during our week there. We lost power several times a day. I unfortunately cannot recommend this hotel, even though the dedicated staff deserves five stars.

Nous avons séjourné à cet hotel au mois d'avril. Nous allons a cuba pour ses magnifiques plages depuis toujours. Malheureusement Trinidad fait exception. Le sable est grossier et l'eau de la mer n'est pas turquoise. On se croirait en Floride.

L'hôtel a déjà été splendide mais est laissé a l'abandon. Il ny avait que 3 tasses de porcelaine pour tout l'hôtel. Au lobby... ils nous servaient notre café dans 2 verres de plastiques qui se déformaient sous l'effet de la chaleur Et au buffet le café est servi dans les verres d'eau.

La nourriture est malheureusement la pire que jai mangé à Cuba. Aucun fruit sauf papaye. On achetait des mangues et des bananes à un vendeur itinérant qui venait à la plage chaque jour. Le beurre est sur demande. Une salière pour tout le resto. On a mangé du riz et du pouding au riz comme dessert toute la semaine.

Les serveurs font leur possible pour donner du service et le personnel de l'hôtel est attentionné et gentil mais ils n'ont même pas de linges pour laver les comptoires. Ils se servent de tissus remplis de trous et d'aspect horrible.

On a eu 7 jours de beau temps avec beaucoup de vent. Le soir les moustiques sont voraces et il nous fallait courir de la chambre au buffet pour ne pas se faire manger. Aucun système de fumée pour les éloigner n'a été vu pendant notre semaine.

On a manqué d'électricité plusieurs fois par jours.

Je ne recommande pas cet hotel malheureusement même si le personnel dévoué mériterait 5 étoiles.

Un endroit magnifique

Superb hotel and the staff are simply fantastic...obviously the pools are for children only (not deep) and it's a shame the disco doesn't open until 11:30 am...it should open as soon as the show ends...a lot of people would go...

Superbe hôtel et le personnels est tout simplement génial..évidemment que les piscines sont pour enfants seulement.. (pas creuse) et domage que la discothèque n'ouvre qu'à 11h 30..elle devrait ouvrir dès la fin du spectacle.. beaucoup de gens iraient..
