Paying the extra fee for privileges is well worth it. The private pool and bar are tranquil, and the Bloved restaurant is delicious for lunch, dinner, or supper, but it's only accessible with the privilege pass. I highly recommend it if you want to eat well.

We loved our stay at the Catalonia! We enjoyed the hotel staff, the buffet food, the little shops on site, and the neighborhood, which was perfect for walking (near Dolphin Discovery). There was no seagrass because they'd put up a barrier to block access as much as possible, keeping the sea clean! Our room was very spacious, with plenty of towels, a balcony, and a large bed. Be aware, however, that there were mosquitoes on some days more than others, especially in Steakville! It was impossible to eat without getting bitten several times… We had the pleasure of going to the Japanese restaurant and we loved the food and the atmosphere!

Nous avons aimé le personnel de l’hôtel, la nourriture du buffet, les petites boutiques sur place, le quartier qui permettait de s’y promener (près du Dolphin Discovery), pas de sargrass puisqu’ils ont mis une barrière permettant de bloquer l’accès le plus possible pour que la mer reste belle ! La chambre que nous avions était très grande, assez de serviettes, balcon, grand lit.

Attention toutefois il y avait quand même des moustiques certains jours plus que d’autres, surtout au Steakville ! Il était impossible de manger sans se faire piquer à plusieurs reprises… Nous avons eu le plaisir d’aller au restaurant japonais et nous avons adoré la nourriture et l’ambiance !

The pool didn't seem to be chlorinated! There were lots of children and people at the bar who didn't go outside to use the restrooms! The water looked cloudy. The buffet was good, but repetitive. It's a vacation, and I enjoyed being on vacation.
