I have lost confidence in this travel agency. Discount Travel should not offer this kind of hotel to its customers. Apart from rum, there is no alcohol. The hotel is frequently without electricity. The pools are half full, green, and closed. There is horse shit everywhere on the grounds. There is bird shit everywhere in the hotel corridors. There is no entertainment. Furthermore, we almost missed our return flight because the travel agency gave our taxi the wrong address and it arrived 2.5 hours late at the hotel.
Jai perdu confiance en cette agence de voyage. Voyage à rabais ne devrait pas offrir ce genre d'hotel à ses clients.
More... Less...À part du rhum, il n'y a aucun alcool. L'hôtel est fréquemment sans électricité. Les piscine sont à moitié pleines, vertes et fermées. Il y a de la merde de cheval partout sur le terrain. Il y a de la merde d'oiseaux partout dans les corridors de l'hôtel. Il n'y a aucun animation.
De plus, nous avons failli manquer notre vol de retour car l'agence de voyage a donné une mauvaise adresse à notre taxi et celui ci est arriver 2h30 en retard à l'hôtel.

We came to visit family in Santiago but had transportation problems. We appreciated the peace and quiet and the atmosphere. The hotel was very well-kept.

The negative point in the majority of hotels: entertainment never takes into account the clientele who come mainly to relax and enjoy the heat, but the excessive music (reaggeton) does not suit this clientele. It always seems that you have to party when you come to Cuba. Where are the traditional musicians and artisans who would add charm to the place? We are completely ignorant of other cultures in food. and very few understand French and speak it, while the majority of customers are French-speaking.
l point négatif dans la majorité des hôtels: animation ne tient jamais compte de la clientèle qui vient surtout pour relaxer et profiter de la chaleur mais la musique excessive ( reaggeton) ne convient pas à cette clientèle. On dirait toujours qu'Il faut faire la fête en venant à Cuba. où sont les musiciens traditionnels et des artisans qui feraient le charme des lieux. On ignore complètement les cultures d'ailleurs en alimentation. et très peu comprennent le français et le parle alors que la majorité des clients sont francophones.

The site must have been, at one time, very beautiful... nothing changes to the sea view, but seriously lacking resources to get it back on its feet! It remains difficult to criticize because the staff works with what they have! However, proper training on how to clean a bathroom and bedroom would be in order!!!! Patio chairs too... we had a bungalow with a sublime sea view but no chairs to relax in! The staff was super great and courteous. I will return for that and for the site even if it was left to go... I had arrived prepared with my condiments and had bought onions, avivados, mangoes in town... So I could complete my buffet meals with a little more flavor!! I did not miss the food but very basic and repetitive, choice... there was none! But it was still okay. I will return because it is the only option with sea in Santiago and I also have good memories of the staff! Maybe they should offer a shuttle service to the city center during the stay... because the road is extremely bad and it's an hour away... Taxis are extremely expensive, especially for us tourists!!
Le site a dû être , à un certain moment, très beau … rien ne change à la vue sur la mer, mais sérieusement en manque de ressources pour le remettre sur pieds! Il reste difficile de critiquer car le staff travaille avec ce qu’ils ont ! Toutefois, une formation adéquate sur comment laver une salle de bain et chambre serait de mise !!!! Des chaises de patio aussi … nous avions bungalow avec vue sur mer sublime mais aucune chaise pour s’y détendre!

J’y retournerai pour ça et pour le site meme si à été laissé allé…. J’étais arrivé préparer avec mes condiments et avait acheter en ville des oignons, avivados, mangues …. Donc je pouvais compléter mes repas du buffet avec un peu plus de goût !! Je n’ai pas manqué de nourriture mais très basic et répétitives, choix .. y’en avait pas ! Mais c’était correcte quand même .
J’y retournerai car c’est la seule option avec mer à santiago et je garde aussi bon souvenir du personnel ! Peut être ils devrait offrir service de navette vers le centre ville durant le séjour … car la route est ultra mauvaise et c est à une heure …. Taxi sont ultra dispendieux surtout pour nous les touristes!!
