Coral Costa Caribe Resort

Room P606 on the 6th floor had a constant engine noise, making it difficult to sleep. The air conditioning was leaking. They came, but the problem persisted the next day. Even though I gave them the room number, they went to my friend's room because they had registered my room under her name. When we finally noticed this, I asked them to change the name several times, but they never did. So the next day, I waited for them to come again, and they went to the wrong room despite me giving them my room number in both Spanish and English. They finally asked me to change rooms, but the balcony was much smaller and didn't have the same sea view, so I refused and asked them to fix the problem, which they finally did on the third day. The room was clean, and I had hot water. The activities at the pool consisted of throwing a ball into the basket each day, nothing else. The evening show was nothing special: one or two dances, and the dancers weren't coordinated at all. The entertainer talks incessantly before the show even starts. The food is never hot and repetitive. We still ate every day, though. The staff isn't very friendly, but when someone does smile, I tell them. The beach is beautiful; you can walk for quite a while, and the sargassum seaweed arrives around 3 a.m., except for the last day, Saturday, September 26th. The rest of the week was perfect. In the lobby, you can't get a drink at an open bar and be served, which is very disappointing, except at the sports bar. I won't be returning to this hotel; the VH Grand Ventana is much better in terms of hot food.

Chambre p606 au 6e étage bruit constant de moteur difficulté à dormir. Climatisation qui coulait. Ils sont venus même problème qui continuait le lendemain. J'avais beau leur donner le numéro de chambre et ils allaient à la chambre de mon amie, car ils ont enregistrer ma chambre à son nom quand nous avons fini par remarquer ceci je leur ai demandé de mettre le bon nom à plusieurs reprises ce qui n'a jamais été fait donc le lendemain j'ai encore attendu qu'ils viennent et ils allaient dans la mauvaise chambre malgré que je donnais mon numero de chambre en espagnol et en anglais. Ils m'ont finalement demandé de changer de chambre, mais le balcon était beaucoup plus petit et pas la même vue sur mer donc j'ai dit non et j'ai demande qu'ils règlent le problème ce qui a finalement été fait le 3e jour. La chambre était propre et j'avais de l'eau chaude. Les activités à la piscine c'était de lancer un ballon dans le panier à chaque jour rien d'autre. Le soir le spectacle rien de bon une ou deux danses et rien de coordonné au niveau des danseurs. L'animateur parle continuellement avant que ca commence. La bouffe pas chaud du tout et redondant. On mange quand même tous les jours. Le personnel n'est pas très souriant, mais lorsqu'il y en a une je lui dit. La plage belle on peut marcher un bon bout de temps et les sargasses arrivent vers 3 h environ sauf la dernière journée samedi le 26 septembre. Le reste de la semaine c'était parfait. Au lobby on ne peut pas prendre un verre dans un bar ouvert et se faire servir c'est tres decevant sauf au bar sportif. Je ne retournerai pas à cet hôtel le VH Grand ventana est beaucoup mieux point de vue nourriture chaude.

The resort is nice, but the rooms need renovations: the ceiling is in poor condition, the wardrobe door is difficult to open, the patio door creaks unbearably, and the air conditioning leaks. The grounds are beautiful and clean, the beach is superb and well-maintained, and the food court is clean, but the food is cold. The pool water is cloudy and uninviting, and some of the staff are very cold; you get the feeling you're bothering them.

Le site est bien, maIs les chambres ont besoin de rénovations, plafond en mauvaise état, portede garde robe difficile a ouvrir, porte de patio grince de facon impossible et air climatise coule. Le site extérieur est beau et propre, plage superbe et bien entretenue, zone alimentaire propre, mais nourriture froide. L'eau des piscines sont brouillent et pas très attraillante, et certain membre du personnel sont très froid, on a l'impression de les déranger.

Positive: Beautiful beach with plenty of sun loungers. The staff is very professional. Very good food. Negative: My room wasn't ready when I arrived at 8 pm. I waited over two hours to get in. I also had to wait over two days for a refrigerator in my room. The air conditioning wasn't working properly, and there was a lot of water leaking onto the floor.

Positif: Très belle plage, avec beaucoup de chaises longues. Le personnel est très professionnel. Très bonne nourriture. Négatif: ma chambre n'était pas prête à mon arrivée à 20 h. J'ai attendu plus de 2 h pour entrer. J'ai dû attendre aussi plus de deux jours pour avoir un frigo dans ma chambre. L'air climatisé fonctionnait mal, beaucoup d'eau coulait dans le plancher.

We loved our trip, the beach was beautiful. The buffet was good and the à la carte restaurant was very good. The staff was welcoming. The only downside was the main pool (the one with the bar), which was very dirty. Excellent value for money, I recommend it. - Francois
