Good for the price

A good hotel for relaxing. The room was very poorly soundproofed. The staff didn't seem to enjoy working most of the time, except in the restaurants. The buffet was good but repetitive. There was a lot of litter on the beach: empty glasses, lots of cigarette butts, which weren't cleaned up regularly. The à la carte restaurants were very good, however, I ended up having to finish my meal at the buffet because the portions were really small. There were many vendors on the beach. Those selling cigars harassed you even if you told them you don't smoke. There was a lack of entertainment in the evenings, and the shows were all very similar.
Bonne hotel pour aller relaxer. Chambre très mal insonoriser. Le personnel n'a pas l'air d'aimer travailler la majoriter du temps sauf dans les restaurant. Le buffet est bon mais redondant. Beaucoup de déchet a la plage, des verre vide, beaucoup de mégit de cigarette, qui ne sont pas ramasser régulierement. Les restaurant a la carte sont super bons, cependant pour ma par, je devait aller terminer au buffet car les portion ne sont vraiment pas grosse. Beaucoup de vendeur sur la plage. Ceux qui vende des cigarre te harcele meme si tu leur dit que tu ne fume pas. Manque d'animation dans les soirer et les spectacle ce ressemble tous.

Belle semaine de vacance
The beach was clean but very windy due to the strong waves. Luckily, there was a rock formation blocking the waves, and the yellow flag was flying all week. The sea water wasn't clear; you couldn't see your feet in the water, and we didn't see any fish, so don't bring a snorkeling mask because you can't see anything at all. The buffet was good, but we would have liked some mangoes. The à la carte restaurant was great. There were a lot of people soliciting us on the beach. It's a small, friendly resort, close to everything. Evening entertainment was practically nonexistent; they just go around the crowd and ask people to dance. The staff were welcoming and spoke a little French. Overall, it's a good place to relax, not to party in the evening.
Plage propre mais beaucoup de vagues car très venteux, oar chance qu'il y a une formation rocheuse qui bloc les vagues, drapeau jaune toute la semaine. L'eau de la mer n'était pas limpide, on ne se voit pas les pieds dans l'eau et pas vu de poissons ,donc amener vous pas de masque de plongée car on voit carrément rien. Bon buffet mais aurait aimer avoir des mangues.Resto a la carte super.Beaucoup de sollicitations sur la plage. Petit site chaleureux,proche de tout. Animation le soir pratiquement inexistante, ils viennent tout simplement chercher le monde dans le publique pour danser. Personel accueillant et parle un peu le français. En général ,c'est bien pour aller se reposer et non faire le party le soir.

The staff is exceptional!!! A big wow, they are kind, welcoming, exceed expectations, and radiate their zest for life!!! The beach is superb and well-maintained. They remove trash and seaweed every day! The room was comfortable and clean! The room service was excellent. A big wow for the entertainment; you won't get bored at this hotel. The value for money is exceptional! You feel right at home! I highly recommend it.
Personnel est exceptionnel !!! Un gros waw ils sont gentils avenants, dèpasse les attentes et communicateurs de leurs joie de vivre !!! Plage superbe et bien entretenu. Ils enleve dechet et algues chaque jours ! Chambre confortable et propre ! Service de chambre super. Un gros waaw pour les animations on ne s ennuie pas dans cet hotel le rapport qualitè prix est exeptionnel ! Vous vous sentez bien chez vous ! Je recommande

Far away but worth it

After a 4-hour flight and a 1 hour 40 minute bus ride, we arrived. It's a very beautiful place, and the staff are friendly. We were disappointed with the room. We had requested a room with a sea view and on a higher floor. Having to step outside the room to see the sea is hardly what I would call a sea view, especially since we were on the ground floor. Plus, we paid for a deluxe room which was supposed to offer that! The food was good, however, there's a major drawback on weekends: the resort is overrun with Dominicans who come to spend the day there. You have to queue to eat at the lunch buffet; there are TOO MANY PEOPLE at the buffet and the pools. That's a huge negative point! And I call that a lack of respect for the other guests! It's very noisy! The Dominicans are at home and they make sure we know it! But the rest of the week it's fine. There are two swimming pools. It would be helpful to have one pool exclusively for adults and signs reminding people to be considerate, as children sometimes shout and adults talk loudly in the hallways leading to the rooms and elevators. The room doors aren't soundproofed. There are no trash cans on the beach, and there were litterers there that didn't care about anyone else. The buffet opens at 7:00 AM, but some of the waitresses are more preoccupied with other tasks than serving customers. One waitress I give 5 stars, Fatimada, serves on the left side as you enter the buffet, both in the morning and at lunchtime. When she's there, the service is fast! The coffee is practically waiting for you at the table. There are four à la carte restaurants, all of which are very good. At the bar by the pool, there's a menu of drinks you can order, which is great! The sea is beautiful at first, but the further you go into the water, the more seaweed there is. Very nice beach. Have a good trip!
Après 4 heures d'avion et 1h40 de bus, nous sommes arrivés, très bel endroit, personnel sympathique. Déçu de la chambre. On avait demandé chambre avec vue sur la mer et sur un étage supérieur. Sortir dehors de la chambre pour voir la mer, je n'appelle pas ça vu de la mer, surtout en étant sur le rez-de-chaussée, en plus on a payé pour une chambre deluxe qui devait nous donner ça! On a bien mangé par contre gros défaut les weekends, le resort est envahi de dominicains qui viennent passer le jour au resort. Il faut faire la file pour manger au buffet du midi, TROP DE MONDE au buffet et aux piscines, ça c'est un gros point négatif ! Et j'appelle ça un manque de respect pour les vacanciers ! Très bruyant ! Les Dominicains sont chez eux et ils nous le font savoir! Mais le reste de la semaine c'est bien.

Less...Il y a 2 piscines, il pourrait y avoir une piscine exclusivement pour adultes et des pancartes qui rappellent aux gens de respecter les autres car dans les couloirs menant vers les chambres et les ascenseurs, parfois les enfants criaient et les adultes parlaient fort, les portes de chambres ne sont pas insonorisées.
Pas de poubelles sur la plage, il avait des cochons qui se foutent des autres.
Le matin, le buffet s'ouvre à 07h00 mais le service aux tables certaines serveuses sont plus occupés à faire d'autres choses que de s'occuper des clients. Une serveuse que je donne 5 étoiles Fatimada, elle sert du côté gauche en entrant au buffet, le matin et le midi. Quand elle est là, le service est rapide! Le café nous attend presque à la table.
4 restos à la carte, les 4 sont très bien. Au bar près de la piscine il y a un menu affiché des drinks que l'on peut commander c'est super !
La mer est belle au début mais plus on avance dans l'eau, plus c'est rempli d'algues. Très belle plage.
