Very large and quite nice complex!
Très grand complexe assez bien!
Overall, it was okay, but the staff at reception was lacking. I had requested two beds not too far from the pool (my daughter has a disability and difficulty walking). I was asked to come back the next day, and after three unsuccessful attempts, we ended up staying in that room for two weeks! The resort is large and there aren't enough employees to manage it properly. There's a certain "I don't care" attitude, which is understandable given the workload, but for example, when I asked for towels, the chambermaid told me she would come back later but never did. I felt like I was being mocked, even though I initially left a tip, but I stopped afterward. The floor was dirty if I didn't ask for it to be cleaned, and the toilet seat was broken, but after I complained, nothing was changed. The facilities, like the mini-golf course, are outdated and poorly maintained. It's difficult to get clean beach towels because it's too crowded, but the Dominicans are kind and patient with my disabled daughter. The buffet is very good, a little repetitive but still good, and the service is very good!
Dans l'ensemble c'est correct mais le personnel est manquant à l'accueil, j'avais demandé 2 lits et pas trop loin de la piscine, (ma fille est handicapée) difficulté à marcher, on m'a demandé de revenir demain et après trois reprises sans résultats nous somme restées à cette chambre deux semaines! Le complexe est grand et pas assez d'employés pour s'en occuper convenablement, il y a un brin de "je m'en foutisme" ce qui peut être compréhensible vue la surcharge de travail mais par ex; je demandais des serviettes, la femme de chambre me disait qu'elle reviendra plus tard mais ne faisait pas, j'ai senti qu'on se moquait de moi malgré que je donnais un pourboire au début mais j'ai cessé ensuite. Le plancher était sale si je ne demandais pas de laver, la lunette de toilette brisée, après ma demande rien de changé. Les installations comme miniputt par ex. désuet et pas entretenu. Difficile d'avoir des serviettes de plage propres trop de monde mais les dominicains sont gentils et patients avec ma fille handicapée. Le buffet est très bon, un peu redondant mais quand même et le service est très bien!

Beautiful, peaceful stay
Beau séjour tranquille
Beautiful, clean hotel. The rooms are clean and modern. The food is good and the à la carte restaurants are accessible. The gym and spa were definitely in need of renovation. However, the evenings are very quiet. There aren't really any shows or entertainment. It lacks a bit of atmosphere, but if you want peace and quiet, this is the place.
Belle hôtel, propre, Les chambres ont propres et modernes. La nourriture est bonne et les resto à la carte accessible.

Cependant, les soirée sont très calme. Il n'y a pas vraiment de spectacle et pas d'animation. Il manque un peu d'ambiance mais si vous voulez être tranquille, c'est la place.

We received a very warm welcome, the service was acceptable, and the tour was well-explained. In addition, we had the opportunity to watch the hot air balloon competition.
Très bon accueil, service acceptable et sortie bien commentée. De plus, nous avons eu l'opportunité d'assister à la compétition de ballon volant.

A really beautiful complex
Vraiment un très beau complexe
I've been to Cuba and the Dominican Republic eight times now, and frankly, this is one of the best hotels I've ever stayed in. The food is excellent and very varied, the beaches are beautiful, but you can't walk very far out to sea because of the underwater vegetation. The staff in general are very friendly and kind, except for a few who shouldn't be working in the public sector. It's a hotel I would gladly return to, and I highly recommend it.
Ça fait 8 voyages que je fais à Cuba et en République Dominicaine et franchement c'est l'une des meilleures hôtels que j'ai eu. La nourriture est excellente et très variée, les plages sont belles mais on ne peut pas marcher très loin dans la mer car il y a de la végétation sous-marine. Le personnel en général est très aimable et gentil sauf quelques-uns qui ne devrait pas travailler dans le public.
