Very good, despite not having stayed at the hotel we were booked to, which was the Melia Costa Rez Caya Coco. My Iberostar was fine.

A wonderful week! The beach was beautiful, but there was sargassum seaweed due to rough seas. It was a bad week for the beach, but it's usually lovely and the walks are long. The sargassum is collected by hand. In fact, all maintenance work at the hotel is done by hand, with no motors, so there's no noise. Bring mosquito repellent; it's essential. I didn't see any watering, so I have no idea if it's done. There were mosquitoes, but I only got about eight bites during the week while being careful. Yes, there's a shortage of everything—it's Cuba, after all—but every day we found something fun to eat. We brought a lot of gifts, but if I had more money, I would have brought more (Tylenol, hats, mosquito repellent, etc.). The cleanliness, the staff, and the swim-out suite 5005 are truly amazing. Be careful and lock your doors (from the inside) and patio doors. There was a theft of a room and a Canadian passport. Havana is a long way to go for a temporary passport. There's nothing to do outside the hotel except walk 5-8 minutes to the marina. There are small kiosks (3 or 4) selling trinkets (a different one each day at the Selection Hotel) and there's a restaurant.
Très belle semaine, la plage était belle, mais il y a eu des sargasses dû à une agitation de la mer. Mauvaise semaine pour la plage mais elle est belle en temps normal et longue pour les marches. Les sargasses sont ramassés à la main. En fait tous les travaux d'entretient sur l'hôtel sont fait à la main et aucun moteur donc aucun bruit.
More... Less...Amenez-vous du chasse moustiques, c'est nécessaire. Je n'ai pas vue aucun arrosage, donc je n'ai aucune idée si c'est fait. Il y avait des moustiques mais j'ai eu environ 8 piqûres dans la semaine en faisant attention.
Oui, il manque de tout, c'est Cuba ....mais chaque jour on trouvait un truc le fun à manger.
On a amenez bcp de cadeaux, mais si j'avais plus j'en aurait amené plus (tylenol, casquettes, chasse moustiques...)
La propreté, le personnel, la suite swim out 5005 sont des gros wow.
Soyez prudents et barrez vos portes (de l'intérieur) + portes patio. Il y a eu un vol de chambre et de passeport canadien. C'est loin la Havane pour un passeport temporaire.
Il n'y a rien a faire en dehors de l'hotel mise a part marcher 5-8min pour la marina. Il y a des petits kyoskes (3 ou 4) pour vendre des cossins (il y en a un différent chaque jour à l'hotel selection) et il y a un restaurant.
