I've been to several all-inclusive resorts on various Caribbean islands. I'm not a picky eater and I appreciate the efforts of the staff and resorts to make the food look and taste similar to our own, with a reasonable degree of success. The Couples Swept Away in Negril, without trying to imitate any particular cuisine, managed to satisfy my partner and me 100% every time. Whether in the restaurants or at the buffet, the Jamaican food is sublime, especially the jerk chicken and seafood. The tap water is drinkable, the toilets flush properly, and the overall cleanliness is incredible. And the greenery! This resort has been around for over 30 years, so it truly feels like we're in the jungle with all kinds of palm trees and magnificent birds. The beach, wow! The water is turquoise and calm. I gave the pool a 9 because we didn't use it, but it was clean and well-maintained. Every evening at the buffet, there were reggae shows, a piano bar, and a disco upstairs at the Patois Patio Restaurant. In short, I recommend this resort to couples looking for a dream vacation and tranquility.

Je ne suis pas difficile et j’apprécie les efforts du personnel et des resorts pour faire en sorte que la nourriture ressemble et goûte à la notre avec un peu de succès. Le “Couples Swept Away” à Negril, sans essayer d’imiter une cuisine particulière a réussi à nous satisfaire moi et ma conjointe 100% tout le temps. Que ce soit dans les restos ou au buffet, la cuisine Jamaiquaine est sublime, surtout le Jerk Chicken et les fruits de mer. L’eau du robinet potable, les toilettes qui “Flush” comme il faut, la propreté en générale est incroyable. Parlons de verdure ! Ça fait 30 ans et plus que ce resort existe donc, on dirait carrément que nous sommes dans la jungle avec des Palmiers de toutes sortes et des oiseaux magnifiques. La plage, Wow!!!!!! L’eau est Turquoise et calme. J’ai donné une note de “9” pour la piscine parce que nous ne l’avons pas utilisé mais elle était propre et bien entretenue. Chaque soir au buffet, il y avait des spectacles “Reggae” , un piano bar et une discothèque en haut du Resto Patois Patio. En somme, je recommande ce resort aux couples qui recherchent des vacances de rêve et la tranquillité.

Exceptional beach, perfect but noisy room due to its proximity to the road, no air conditioning in the restaurants, small and uninviting pools, decent but unremarkable buffets. Welcoming staff, only a small amount of drinking water in the rooms; you have to go outside to refill your pitcher. A quiet resort, perfect for relaxing.

Plage exceptionnelle, chambre parfaite mais bruyante à cause de la proximité de la route, aucune climatisation dans les restaurants, piscines petites et non-invitantes, buffets corrects sans-plus. Personnel accueillant, juste un peu d’eau potable dans les chambres, il faut sortir pour aller remplir notre pichet. Resort tranquille parfait pour se reposer.

We loved our trip. The only downside was that the staff weren't very friendly. Some were, but most didn't seem to enjoy their work!

Great beach. Just wow. Well located hotel. In the middle of 7 miles. No entertainment. No place to have a drink before dinner except on the beach... Very good food buffet but small buffets. Not much meat. Room no. 1 all well located superb security just wow.
