Guests particularly appreciate the variety of activities and facilities dedicated to families, as well as the generally excellent quality of the à la carte restaurants. The staff is frequently praised for their friendliness, courtesy, and attentiveness. Furthermore, the overall cleanliness of the hotel and the spacious rooms contribute to a comfortable stay. However, the presence of seaweed can occasionally make swimming in the sea less enjoyable. Additionally, the buffet is sometimes perceived as disappointing, with a limited selection or inconsistent quality.

Endroit génial
We loved it! Everything was close by, the children had so much fun.

Great week except for the beach
Belle semaine sauf la plage
Nice little resort, everything is close by. The room was lovely and clean. It's a shame the bathroom area is open-plan. Yes, there are retractable panels, but they're open, offering a lack of privacy with children. The biggest problem is the beach. It's like sitting in front of a large swamp. The hotel does very little Sargassum seaweed collection compared to the neighboring one. The smell permeates the pools due to the accumulation. In short, a good little resort if you like pools. The buffet is very good in the morning and at lunchtime, but in the evening it's a different story. Go to the à la carte restaurants (which are very good, by the way).

A few shortcomings despite an extraordinary holiday
Quelques lacunes malgré des vacances extraordinaires
Small buffet that won't appeal to everyone (limited selection), very salty food. Very long wait to get drinks/liquids at the buffet. Untapped potential at the buffet (pasta bar, Mexican food, Asian food like teppanyaki plates, no sushi). Very nice resort with amenities nearby. Even the furthest room is a 5-minute walk from everything. Several bathrooms close by. Service disruptions during the last two days of our stay (the small restaurant near the beach didn't open one day = buffet overcrowded when it finally opened at 12:30, service around the pool was also unavailable that same day). Some restaurants closed in the evening for events = overcrowding for the others. Communication needs improvement so people don't find out about these disruptions at the last minute. Great activities organized for children (kids club + trampoline + ball pits, cinema, zip line, etc.). We would return with the children, but not just as a couple. 20-25 minutes from the airport.
More...

A disappointment for an experienced traveler
Une déception d'un voyageur expérimenté
Despite our low expectations, this so-called 5-star resort is no more than a 3 or 3.5-star. The food is terrible; there's only one restaurant you can book, the steakhouse, where I was served an inedible steak à la carte. Otherwise, there are three other restaurants where you have to wait in line for 1-2 hours to get a table. Once there, we went to the buffet. A very ordinary buffet with no variety; we ate the same thing all week. There were no evening activities; there was only one short show in seven days, which lasted about an hour. We were truly disappointed by this establishment, which belongs to a Mexican group, where it felt like profits were the priority; everything seemed to have been cut back.
More...

Honeymoon 2.0
Honeymoon 2.0
Sensira was easily one of the best vacations my wife and I have ever had. From check in to check out, the service was exceptional. The staff were kind and attentive. Of all the resorts we've ever been to, this one paid the most attention to my wife's allergies. From the buffet to each restaurant, they asked about her dietary needs. As we don't have children, we spent our time at the adult pool and beach, however we could see that the resort had amazing amenities for children in the kids pool, climbing wall, zip line, theater, and more. Our room was clean and spacious, with a view over an infinity pool to the Caribbean Sea. The food was excellent! We always enjoyed our meals. The one thing that we wished we'd seen more of was live music, but we went on vacation to rest and that is what we did. The resort is peaceful at night. I wish I could remember the names of all the staff that took care of us, but here are a few; Tony, Carlos, Antonio and Donatiano.
