I really enjoyed it again.

I really like this hotel, the staff and service are excellent. But you should make the pool with the bar just for adults, because the children jump in and splash people. Thank you very much.

Mais vous devriez faire une piscine celle ou il a le bar juste pour les adulte car les enfants saute et arrose les gens tranquille.

We wanted to go to San Andes it was the only hotel available if we would not have had access to the others in Cameron we would not have gone. We also knew that Rocky Kay existed. We took a room with a sea view the room was renovated very beautiful beach room forgot about this hotel

Nous voulions aller à San Andes c était le seul hôtel disponible si nous aurions pas eu accès au autres de Cameron on aurait pas été. On savait aussi que Rocky Kay existait. Nous avons prit chambre vue mer la chambre était rénové très belle chambre plage a oublié à cet hôtel

Aside from our room, which was large and renovated, the other aspects of the hotel left something to be desired. The buffet lacked variety, and it was fortunate that there were fruits and salads, as the dishes with sauce were not always appetizing. The lunch snack had very little choice, and I admit that the appearance of what was offered (hot dogs and hamburgers) did not really make you want to try them. With a few exceptions, the staff at the snack bar and the buffet were not very friendly. The à la carte restaurant only had two menus, to my knowledge, so it was repetitive. The quality of the food was quite average, and the choices were rather banal; tough piece of beef, overcooked fish, rubbery dessert. The staff, however, was very welcoming. We went to dinner at the Decameron Aquarium, and the lunch buffet was better. The location is far from the center, which we were aware of when booking. The beach is almost nonexistent, and there are a lot of rocks. The very strong winds prevented us from relaxing in the sea and especially from snorkeling, which is what we came to do in San Andrés. The place is quite quiet but on weekends, the Reggae bar across the street would blast its music around midnight, which bothered us. The bus service costs almost nothing and is very convenient for getting around the island and visiting the city of San Andrés. On the other hand, the outdoor activities that were offered to us were very expensive. The mini dive shop could not give me the introductory diving course that I wanted to take due to a lack of participants; it is not their fault but it just means that people who want to dive do not stay at this hotel. Also, what I missed a lot is that there is no place where you can just sit and watch the sea (apart from sitting on the sandbags across the street). If we had to do it again, we would go to the Decameron Marazul, which has a much more interesting location. There is a large dock with a bar where you can relax by the sea, a mangrove to the left, and also the possibility of kayaking. The buffet and one of the restaurants also have access to the sea.

À part notre chambre qui était grande et rénovée, les autres aspects de l’hôtel laissait plutôt à désirer.

Le buffet manquait de variété et heureusement qu’il y avait des fruits et des salades car les plats en sauce n’était pas toujours appétissants. Le snack du midi avait très peu de choix et j’avoue que l’aspect de ce qui était proposé (hot-dog et hamburger) ne donnait pas vraiment le goût de les essayer. À part quelques exceptions, le personnel du snack et du buffet n’était pas très souriant. Le restaurant à la carte n’avait à ma connaissance que 2 menus, donc c’était répétitif. La qualité des plats était assez moyenne et les choix plutôt banals; morceau de boeuf dur, poisson trop cuit, dessert caoutchouteux. Le personnel par contre était très accueillant. Nous sommes allés dîner au Decameron Aquarium et le buffet du midi était meilleur.

L’emplacement est loin du centre, on en était conscient à la réservation. La plage est presqu’inexistante et il y a beaucoup de roches. Les vents très forts nous empêchaient de se détendre dans la mer et surtout de faire de la plongée en apnée, ce que nous étions venus faire à San Andrès. L’endroit est assez tranquille mais le weekend, le bar Reggae en face blastait sa musique vers minuit, ce qui nous a dérangé. Le service de bus coûte presque rien et est très pratique pour se déplacer sur l’île et aller visiter la ville de San Andrés. Par contre, les activités extérieures qui nous étaient proposer coûtaient très chers.

La mini boutique de plongée n’a pas pu me donner le cours d’initiation de plongée que je souhaitait prendre par manque de participant; ce n’est pas de leur faute mais ça veut juste dire que les gens qui veulent faire de la plongée, ne séjourne pas à cet hôtel.

Aussi, ce qui m’a beaucoup manqué c’est qu’il n’y a pas d’endroit où l’on peut juste s’asseoir et regarder la mer (à part s’asseoir sur les sacs de sable de l’autre côté de la rue). Si c’était à refaire, nous irions au Decameron Marazul dont le site est beaucoup plus intéressant. Il y a un grand quai avec bar sur lequel on peut relaxer devant la mer, une mangrove à gauche et aussi la possibilité de faire du kayak. Le buffet et un des restaurants sont aussi ouvert sur la mer.
