Amazing hotel and nature

We had a wonderful stay at Dreams Flora. The hotel is beautiful, the facilities are lovely and well-maintained, and above all, the staff is exceptional: smiling, kind, and very attentive. This is truly what we appreciated most during our stay. As for the food, the buffet was very good and varied, and we also enjoyed the à la carte restaurants. The service generally met our expectations. However, there are a few areas for improvement. We unfortunately found a large cockroach in our room's closet, which was quite unpleasant. We also found there were a lot of mosquitoes in certain areas of the hotel. Regarding the beach, our experience was mixed. The hotel made an effort to clean it, but there was a lot of sargassum seaweed during our stay, which made swimming and accessing the sea less enjoyable. Obviously, this last point depends largely on natural conditions and is not entirely within the hotel's control.

Nous avons passé un très beau séjour au Dreams Flora. L’hôtel est magnifique, les installations sont belles et bien entretenues, et surtout, le personnel est exceptionnel : souriant, gentil et très attentionné. C’est vraiment ce que nous avons le plus apprécié durant notre séjour.
Côté nourriture, le buffet était très bon et varié, et nous avons également apprécié les restaurants à la carte. Le service était généralement à la hauteur de nos attentes.
Quelques points sont toutefois à améliorer. Nous avons malheureusement trouvé un gros cafard dans le placard de notre chambre, ce qui était assez désagréable. Nous avons aussi trouvé qu’il y avait beaucoup de moustiques à certains endroits de l’hôtel.
Concernant la plage, notre expérience a été mitigée. L’hôtel faisait des efforts pour nettoyer, mais il y avait beaucoup de sargasses durant notre séjour, ce qui rendait la baignade et l’accès à la mer moins agréables. Évidemment, ce dernier point dépend beaucoup des conditions naturelles et n’est pas entièrement sous le contrôle de l’hôtel.

No complaints about the beauty of the location. The vegetation is lush and the landscaping is extraordinary. No complaints about our room, although our requests were not met. Here's where the problem lies: A) BEACH: Swimming in the sea is impossible. About 100 meters from the beach, there is a floating barrier that traps sargassum seaweed. This decomposes with the ebb and flow of the waves, creating viscous and foul-smelling water that prevents vacationers from swimming. Another unpleasant phenomenon. There are tons of vendors hawking trinkets who bother us, offering massages, braids, necklaces, sunglasses, and so on. We wondered where the security guards were…oh! I forgot, they were in the shade in a small group, watching the women. B) PREFERRED PACKAGE WITH BUTLER. Upon arrival, we were led to the PREFERRED reservations section. We were kept waiting for about 35 minutes to be assigned our room (which didn't match our requests, sent by email three times without acknowledgment) and our BUTLER. What a character this Emilio was! Full of himself, pretentious. He acted incredibly important, thinking he was dealing with first-time travelers. He wasn't exactly the most level-headed guy in the office. POSITIVE HOTEL REVIEWS Located 35 minutes from Punta Cana airport. Accessible for people with reduced mobility. ROOM Positive Points • Very large room. • Two (2) double beds. • Functional and quiet air conditioning. • Separate toilet with door. • Very large shower with hand shower and rain shower. • Unlimited hot water. • Umbrella. • Ironing board with a steamer. • Coffee maker and coffee in the room. • About ten hangers in the wardrobe. • Electronic keypad safe. • Hair dryer. • Magnifying mirror. • Soap, shampoo, and body wash provided. • Small refrigerator stocked daily. NOTE: A mop for cleaning the toilet after use would be a good idea. RESTAURANTS: BUFFET: The food is very varied and of very good quality. A LA CARTE RESTAURANT: No reservation is needed for these restaurants. The BORDEAUX restaurant serves excellent French cuisine. The Japanese restaurant is a bit noisy, but the sushi and other food are well-prepared. DRINKS: The beer, wine, and spirits are of good quality. The bartenders know how to make cocktails. POOLS: The pools are very large, very clean, and very well maintained. We recommend this hotel for its beauty and location, and give it a rating of 8.5/10.

Rien à redire sur la beauté du site. La végétation est luxuriante et l’aménagement paysager est extraordinaire.
Rien à redire sur notre chambre malgré le fait que nos demandes n’ont pas été respectées.
Là où le bât blesse.
A) PLAGE
Impossible de se baigner dans la mer.
À environ 100 mètres de la plage, il y a une barrière flottante qui retient les sargasses. Ceux-ci se décomposent avec le va et vient des vagues. Ce qui a pour effet de créer une eau visqueuse et nauséabonde empêchant les vacanciers de se baigner.
Autre phénomène désagréable.
Il y a énormément de vendeurs de pacotilles qui viennent nous déranger pour nous offrir massages, tresses, colliers, lunettes de soleil et j’en passe.
On se demande où sont les gardiens de sécurité…oh! J’oubliais ils sont à l’ombre en petit groupe à regarder la gente féminine.



B) FORFAIT PREFERENCE AVEC MAJORD’HOMME.
À notre arrivée, on nous a conduit dans la section pour les réservations PREFERED.
On nous a fait poireauter environ 35 minutes pour nous attribuer notre chambre (non conforme à nos demandes envoyées par courriel à trois reprises sans retour d’accusé de réception) et notre MAJORD’HOMME.
Quel personnage cet Emilio. Imbu de lui-même, prétentieux. Il se donnait énormément d’importance croyant avoir affaire à des gens qui en était à leur premier voyage.
Ce personnage n’était pas le POGO le plus dégelé de la boîte.

RESTAURANTS :
BUFFET:
La nourriture est très variée et de très bonne qualité.
RESTAURANT À LA CARTE:
Pas besoin de réservation pour accéder à ces restaurants.
Au restaurant BORDEAUX, on y sert une cuisine française d’excellente qualité
Le restaurant japonais, un peu bruyant mais sushis et nourriture bien apprêtée.
BOISSON:
La bière et le vin et les alcools sont de bonne qualité.
Les barmans savent préparer les cocktails.
PISCINES:
Les piscines sont très grandes, très propres et très bien entretenues.

Nous recommandons cet hôtel pour sa beauté, son emplacement et nous lui accordons une note de 8.5/10

Check-in and hotel registration were very quick. There were no wristbands, no restaurant reservations except for the Japanese restaurant if you wanted to see the cooking show; otherwise, no reservations were needed. The buffet was varied and well-stocked, and there were no cards for towels, which were available at any time during the day. The five swimming pools were huge and very clean. There were singers, swimming lessons, and a synchronized swimming show at the main pool, which was a two-minute walk from the beach. The beach was clean, and the staff was very welcoming. We even received a bottle of champagne without asking for it—a very special thank you to Juan, Alex, and Adrian, the waiters at the Barracuda beach bar. They took great care of us, and we wanted for nothing each day we spent at the beach. Every morning, there were games, and one morning we enjoyed a performance by a group of musicians and singers. However, the sea itself was less impressive. They installed barriers in the water to limit the arrival of sargassum seaweed on the beach, but sediment still gets through and the water is brown. The bathrooms are accessible everywhere and are clean. The grounds are very clean, and the flora is exceptional. Absolutely beautiful, with palm trees unlike anything I've ever seen, and pools of water; the hotel truly lives up to its name. The junior suite was clean and well-maintained. The toilet is separated by a door. The bedding is white with a white hotel duvet. The only downside was that we only had three washcloths every two days. In the shower, there were good products with argan oil: shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, and body cream. Importantly, bottled water is available everywhere. We will definitely return.

L'arrivee et l'inscription a l'hotel se font très rapidement. Pas de bracelet, pas de reservation aux restaurants sauf le japonnais si vous desirez voir le spectacle culinaire sinon pas de reservation et le buffet est varie et bien garni et pas de carte pour avoir des serviettes qui sont accessible en tout temps pendant la journée. Les 5 piscines sont immenses et très propre. Il y a des chanteurs, de l'entrainement et spectacle de nage synconisee à la piscine principle qui est à 2 minutes de la plage. La plage est propre le personnel très accueillant. Nous avons même reçu une bouteille de champagne sans la demander, un merci très special à Juan, Alex et Adrian les serveurs du Barracuda le bar de la plage, ils on bien pris soin de nous et nous n'avons manqué de rien à chaques journée passé a la plage. chaque avant-midi, il y a des petits jeux et un avant-midi nous avons eu un spectacle d'un groupe de musiciens et chanteur. Par contre la mer était moins intéressante. Ils ont installé des barrieres dans l'eau pour limiter l'arrivee des sargasses à la plage, mais il passe des sediments et l'eau est brune. Les salles de bain sont accessible partout et elles sont propre. Le site est très propre et que dire de la flore exceptionnelle. D'une beauté absolue, des palmiers jamais vu ailleurs, des bassins d'eau, l'hotel porte tres bien son nom. La suite junior propre bien nettoyee. La toilette est séparee par une porte. La literie est blanche couette d'hotel blanche. Seul bemol nous avions 3 debarbouillettes par 2 jours. Dans la douche, de bons produits à l'huile d'argan shampoing, revitalisant et gel douche plus crème de corps. Fait important, l'eau est accessible partout en petites bouteilles. Nous y retournerons, c'est certain.

Best staff ever. The French and Japanese restaurants were the best. The pre-show music was boring. There was a very long intermission, so we were tired and had trouble getting back to the show.

Meilleur personnel à vie. Reatos français et japonais les meilleurs. Shows musique avant spectacle ennuyeux. Très grosse pause, donc on fatigué et on rend difficilement au spectacle.
