I had a wonderful solo stay at the Eurostars Grand Cayacoa. The location is simply stunning, picture-perfect. The hotel is built on a cliff overlooking the magnificent Samaná Bay, offering breathtaking views of the city and the sea. If you choose a room with a sea view, you'll be rewarded with a spectacular panorama. My room was immaculate. Everything worked perfectly: efficient air conditioning, hot water at all times, and excellent water pressure, even on the 5th floor. The hotel is very well maintained. The pool is clean, the gardens are beautiful, and all the facilities are in excellent condition. Several elevators make it easy to get around the entire property, which is fully accessible for people with reduced mobility. The staff is one of the hotel's greatest strengths. Everyone is welcoming, smiling, and always ready to help. You can tell they genuinely care about the guests' comfort. Special mention goes to SuperMambo, a member of the entertainment team: always available and in a good mood, he brings fantastic energy to the stay. They also organize excursions into town and can accompany you to nightclubs if you'd like to experience Samaná's nightlife. The entertainment is a bit more limited than at some all-inclusive resorts (approximately from 9:30 am to noon, 3:30 pm to 5 pm, and 8:30 pm to 11 pm), but the staff is friendly and brings a great energy to the activities. The buffet is relatively small, and the choices become a bit repetitive after a few days. However, the food is tasty, and there's always enough variety to ensure a satisfying meal. Outside of opening hours, the buffet is replaced by a 24-hour snack bar. I also really appreciated the self-service Nespresso machines at the buffet, the main bar, and the small air-conditioned café. The beach is very clean and accessible by an elevator that descends directly to sea level. There are plenty of lounge chairs, palapas, a bar, and restrooms. In summary, this is an excellent hotel with a spectacular location, exceptional staff, and impeccable facilities. Despite a somewhat limited buffet and less-than-ideal entertainment, I would return without hesitation and highly recommend it, whether you're traveling alone, as a couple, or with your family.

J'ai passé un excellent séjour en solo au Eurostars Grand Cayacoa. Le site est tout simplement exceptionnel, digne d'une carte postale. L'hôtel est construit au bord d'une falaise surplombant la magnifique baie de Samaná, offrant une vue imprenable sur la ville et la mer. Si vous choisissez une chambre avec vue sur la mer, vous serez récompensé par un panorama spectaculaire.
Ma chambre était impeccable. Tout fonctionnait parfaitement : air climatisé efficace, eau chaude en tout temps et une excellente pression d'eau, même au 5e étage.
L'hôtel est très bien entretenu. La piscine est propre, les jardins sont magnifiques et l'ensemble des installations est en excellent état. Plusieurs ascenseurs permettent de circuler facilement partout sur le site, qui est entièrement accessible aux personnes à mobilité réduite.
Le personnel est l'un des grands points forts de cet hôtel. Tout le monde est accueillant, souriant et toujours prêt à aider. On sent qu'ils ont réellement à cœur le confort des clients. Mention spéciale à SuperMambo, membre de l'équipe d'animation : toujours disponible et de bonne humeur, il apporte une super énergie au séjour. Il organise aussi des sorties en ville et peut vous accompagner en boîte de nuit si vous souhaitez découvrir la vie nocturne de Samaná.
L'animation est un peu plus limitée que dans certains tout inclus (environ de 9 h 30 à midi, de 15 h 30 à 17 h et de 20 h 30 à 23 h), mais l'équipe est chaleureuse et met une belle énergie dans les activités.
Le buffet est relativement petit et les choix deviennent un peu répétitifs après quelques jours. En revanche, la nourriture est savoureuse et il y a toujours suffisamment de choix pour bien manger. En dehors des heures d'ouverture, le buffet est remplacé par un casse-croûte accessible 24 heures sur 24.
J'ai aussi beaucoup apprécié les machines à café Nespresso en libre-service au buffet, au bar principal et au petit café climatisé.
La plage est très propre et accessible par un ascenseur qui descend directement au niveau de la mer. On y trouve beaucoup de chaises longues, des palapas, un bar ainsi que des salles de bains.
En résumé, c'est un excellent hôtel avec un emplacement spectaculaire, un personnel exceptionnel et des installations impeccables. Malgré un buffet un peu limité et une animation plus discrète, j'y retournerais sans hésiter et je le recommande sans problème, que vous voyagiez seul, en couple ou en famille.
