I loved my week at this hotel. I was there with my two children and family! We all enjoyed it. The only thing was the evening entertainment, which only goes until 11 pm. They could perhaps extend it a little, but otherwise, we have absolutely no complaints!

J’ai adorée ma semaine a cet hotel, j’ai été avec mes 2 enfants et de la famille! On a tous aimé, seul chose c’est l’animation le soir c’est jusqu’à 11h , il pourrait peut être allonger un peu le temps mais sinon on a absolument rien à dire!

I was a little worried before going because of the reviews, but honestly, I was very impressed! The view is simply incredible! The staff is so welcoming and kind, always smiling and friendly. The buffet is perfect; yes, it's smaller, but you can always find something to eat, and every night there's something different, so there's enough variety for everyone! I'm very happy with my choice! The only thing I would suggest is that they could perhaps extend the evening showtimes, as it only finishes at 11 pm, or at least have some music on the terrace. Otherwise, everything is perfect!

J’ai été un peu inquiète avant d’aller a cause des reviews du monde mais sincèrement j’ai été très impressionné! La vue est juste incroyable! Le personnel est tellement accueillant et gentils , tout le temps souriant et amable, le buffet est parfait, oui c’est plus petit mais tu trouves tout le temps quelque chose a manger puis a chaque soir il y a quelque chose de différent, donc assez de variété pour tout le monde! Je suis très contente de mon choix ! La seule chose que j’aurais a dire c’est qu’ils pourraient peut-être prolonger le show time le soir car ca fini juste a 11h , au moins qu’il aille de la musique sur la terrasse sinon tout est parfait!

Review based on my personal experience 😊 We just returned from a wonderful stay at the Eurostars Grand Cayacoa and we would definitely go back! 🌴 It's a medium-sized hotel, far from the huge resorts. Of course, this reflects my personal experience, as everyone's stay is different. 🌍 🌅 The location and the view: The absolute highlight of this hotel is its unique location. Perched on a cliff, it offers a panoramic view of the entire Samaná Bay. What a joy to have your morning coffee in peace and quiet on the beach ☕️, or to enjoy a drink in the evening on the terrace overlooking the city lights 🍹. 🛏️ The rooms and cleanliness: Our room was comfortable and very clean ✨. The service is very responsive: I requested extra pillows and received them quickly. If, by chance, the mini-fridge wasn't stocked or there were no towels, a simple call to reception and the problem was solved in a flash! 📞💨 Of course, everything isn't perfect: we ran out of water for the shower for about four hours one day, and some of the railings on the property could use a little maintenance 🛠️. But this didn't spoil our overall experience. 🍽️ Food and service: The buffet is more intimate than in the larger resorts, but the food is good and I always found something to enjoy 🍗. A real bonus: we were able to use the beach grill all week long 🏖️🔥. As for the à la carte restaurants, the Gourmet was excellent, although I wasn't as keen on the Italian one 🍕 (to each their own!). I admit I struggle to understand some guests. While the menu can sometimes be repetitive, the variety of dishes, the grill section, and the made-to-order pasta bar offer plenty of options for a satisfying meal 🍝. A small suggestion for modernization: integrating an online application or a kiosk with a tablet/computer would greatly facilitate reservations at the à la carte restaurants. 📱 🛎️ Arrival and lobby management: Arrival was the least pleasant aspect of the stay. The lobby staff quickly becomes overwhelmed when around a hundred guests arrive at once to get their rooms 🧳. The employees do their best, but they have to contend with housekeeping schedules. In my opinion, there's a significant opportunity for improvement here. Some possible solutions for the hotel and the tour operator: * Implement pre-registration on the website or directly at the airport 💻. * Distribute temporary wristbands at the airport so guests can enjoy the resort (beach, buffet, bar) upon arrival, thus spreading out the flow at the check-in desk 🎟️. * For NexusTours representatives: fill the shuttle buses and send them to the hotel as needed, rather than waiting for the airport to empty before sending all the buses at once 🚌. 🧘 Atmosphere and activities: This is a peaceful resort, ideal for relaxation and rejuvenation. If you're looking for an intense party hotel that goes on all night, this is definitely not the place 🤫. The entertainment team is very good, but since I spent most of my time at the beach, I only enjoyed the activities (music and bingo 🎲) in the late afternoon (from 3 pm to 5:30 pm) around the pool 🏊‍♂️. It would be great if the music at the pool continued until closing time with the entertainment team. A little pool volleyball in the late afternoon or something similar would be nice. And what we missed compared to other resorts was entertainment between 5:00 and 8:00 pm on the terrace or in the lobby (musicians, singers, etc.). 🌊 The location and the beach: A huge advantage for this hotel is that it's located just a 10-15 minute walk from the town of Santa Bárbara de Samaná. 🚶‍♂️ It's a safe and pleasant area to leave the resort, stroll along the Malecón, or do some shopping. 🛍️ The beach, although small, is charming, very intimate, and perfect for relaxing to the sound of the waves. Access to the water is easy with very few sharp rocks. 🪨 This isn't a place for walking for miles on the sand, but you can make up for it by walking to the end of the famous Samaná Bridge (Los Puentes). It's a 1.3 km round trip with several steps to climb due to the different levels 🌉. 📌 In short, we chose this hotel for: * Its exceptional location 📍 (close to the city, the Malecón, the surrounding nature, and the calm, secluded beach). * Cat and dog lovers. * The overall cleanliness 🧼 and beach maintenance. * The kindness ❤️ and attentiveness of the staff. * The reliable Wi-Fi throughout 💻, ideal for remote work (video calls obviously depend on the number of people connected simultaneously). In short, excellent value for money for a successful vacation. I arrived without high expectations and left completely happy. Thank you to the whole team for these wonderful memories! 🇩🇴✨ Note: travelers are just as important regardless of the resort for the overall atmosphere… pick up your trash, respect others, yes, on vacation, but good manners don't have to be on vacation!

🌊 L'emplacement et la plage:
Le resort est situé à seulement 10-15 minutes de marche de la ville de Santa Bárbara de Samaná 🚶‍♂️. C’est un coin sécuritaire et agréable pour sortir du resort, se promener sur le Malecón ou faire un peu de magasinage 🛍️.
La plage, bien que petite, est charmante, très intime et parfaite pour relaxer au bruit des vagues. L'accès à l'eau se fait facilement avec très peu de roches coupantes 🪨. Ce n'est pas un endroit pour marcher des kilomètres sur le sable, mais vous pouvez vous reprendre en marchant jusqu’au bout du célèbre pont de Samaná (Los Puentes). C'est un parcours de 1,3 km aller-retour avec plusieurs marches à gravir en raison des différents niveaux 🌉
🛏️ Les chambres et la propreté :
Notre chambre était confortable et très propre✨. Le service est très réactif : j'ai demandé des oreillers supplémentaires que j'ai reçus rapidement. Si par malheur le mini-frigo n'était pas rempli ou s'il manquait des serviettes, un simple appel à la réception et le problème était réglé.📞💨
Bien sûr, tout n'est pas parfait : nous avons manqué d’eau pour la douche pendant environ 4 heures une journée, et il y a certaines balustrades sur le site qui mériteraient un peu d’entretien 🛠️. Mais cela n'a rien gâché à notre expérience globale.
🍽️ La restauration et le service :
Le buffet est plus intime que dans les grands resorts, mais la nourriture y est bonne et j’ai toujours trouvé de quoi me régaler 🍗. Un vrai plus : nous avons pu profiter du grill sur la plage durant toute la semaine 🏖️🔥. Du côté des restaurants à la carte, le Gourmet était excellent, bien que j'aie moins accroché avec l'Italien 🍕.
🛎️ L'arrivée et la gestion du lobby :
L’arrivée a été l'aspect le moins agréable du séjour. Le personnel du lobby se retrouve vite submergé lorsqu'une centaine de clients débarquent en même temps pour obtenir leur chambre 🧳. Les employés font de leur mieux, mais ils doivent composer avec les délais de l'entretien ménager. Il y a selon moi une belle opportunité d'amélioration ici.
🧘 L'ambiance et les activités :
Idéal pour la détente. Si vous cherchez un hôtel de "party" intense, ce n'est clairement pas la bonne place 🤫. L'équipe d'animation est très bien, mais passant le plus clair de mon temps à la plage, je n'ai profité des activités. Et ce qui nous a manqué, les animations entre 17:00 et 20:00 sur la terrasse ou lobby ( musiciens, chanteurs,..) .

📌 En résumé, on choisit cet hôtel pour :
* Son emplacement exceptionnel 📍 (proximité de la ville, le Malecón, la nature environnante, la plage calme et intime).
* Les amoureux de chats et chiens
* La propreté générale 🧼 et l'entretien de la plage.
* La gentillesse ❤️ et l'écoute du personnel.
* Le Wi-Fi fonctionnel partout 💻, idéal pour le télétravail (les appels vidéo dépendent évidemment du nombre de personnes connectées simultanément).

Bref, un excellent rapport qualité-prix exceptionnel pour des vacances réussies. Je suis arrivé sans trop d’attentes, et je repars pleinement heureux. Merci à toute l'équipe pour ces beaux souvenirs ! 🇩🇴✨

Note: Il reste une question de valorisation, je n’investirais pas plus 1200$ en haute saison pour l’instant. Mais comme le resort est en restructuration on verra l’évolution. Nous n’avons rien à dire pour avoir payé sous les 1000$ par personne!

Note: les voyageurs sont aussi importants peut-importe le resort pour l’ambiance générale… ramassez vos déchets, respectez les autres, oui en vacances mais les bonnes manières n’ont pas à être en vacances!
