Fun Holiday Beach Resort

For less than other hotels, the food and cleanliness were quite good. There's no restaurant other than the buffet, but we went mainly for the beach and weren't disappointed.

Pour moins cher que d'autres hôtels, ben correct côté bouffe, propreté. Il n'y a pas de restaurant autre que buffet, mais on y a été principalement pour la plage et n'avons pas été déçus.

Drive of almost 3 hours to get to the hotel and not 1:30 No staff when I arrived I was not expected I was told that I was early and that my room was not ready I had to ask 3 times if I could go get food since my flight was at 6am and I had not eaten The person at the reception Shante finally agreed that I go to the buffet while my room was ready but she suggested that I wait at the reception and did not offer me anything despite what I had told her Food offered with meals and not between meals and served later than indicated There is not really a restaurant it is an open area to get to the beach under a roof of dried palm leaves and the food is not heated or kept cold and it is served on a metal piece of furniture and you have to eat when it is ready and not wait The food was ok, not a great variety but ok There is wine with dinner only (1 to 2 glasses max) and then there is no more There are days when there was no water neither bottled nor in their water tank The bartender looks miserable all the time He doesn't smile and rarely says thank you when he has a tip The cleaning lady Shernett is a really kind and sweet sweetheart The room is very basic In addition to the handle lock there were 2 sliding locks at the top and bottom of the door which was not too reassuring To my right there were locals who were on their balcony every morning sometimes talking on the phone or just being there so rarely the pleasure of being on my balcony alone The day before I left they partied until 3 am on the balcony with music and I woke up at 4 am to leave at 5 am There was no one there when I left in the morning everything was black no lights There was no check out You are asked to sign when you take a very strange towel No place to change money Some people don't have internet in their room I ran out of water a few times in my room toilet tap shower No or very little hot water in the shower You have to bring everything soap shampoo etc, Green swimming pool and not open No spa either Fitzroy in the kitchen very nice and hardworking The 2 security men are also nice The locals are very insistent on the page

Pas de personnel à mon arrivée je n’étais pas attendue on m’a dit que j’étais en avance et que ma chambre n’était pas prête
J’ai dû demander à 3 reprises si je pouvais aller chercher de la nourriture puisque mon vol était à 6ham et je n’avais pas mangé
La personne à l’accueil Shante a finalement accepté que j’aille au buffet le temps que ma chambre soit prête mais elle me suggérait avant d’attendre à l’accueil et ne m’a rien offert malgré ce que je lui avais dit
Nourriture offerte aux repas et pas entre les repas et servie plus tard qu’indiqué
Il n’y a pas vraiment de restaurant c’est une aire ouverte pour se rendre à la plage sous un toit de feuilles de palmier séchées et la nourriture n’est si chauffée ni gardée au froid et elle est servie sur sur un meuble de métal et il faut manger lorsque c’est prêt et ne pas attendre
La nourriture était ok, pas une grande variété mais correcte
Il y a du vin au souper seulement (1 à 2 verres max) et ensuite il n’y en a plus
Il n’y a des jours où il n’y avait pas d’eau ni en bouteille ni dans leur bac d’eau

La femme de ménage Shernett est une amour vraiment gentille et douce
La chambre est très rudimentaire
En plus du lock de poignée il y avait 2 locks coulissants en haut et en bas de la porte ce qui n’était pas trop rassurant
À ma droite il y avait des locaux qui étaient sur leur balcon chaque matin des fois à parler au téléphone ou juste être là donc rarement le plaisir d’être sur mon balcon seule
La veille de mon départ ils ont fêté jusqu’à 3 heures du matin sur le balcon avec de la musique et je me réveillais à 4h pour quitter à 5h
Il n’y avait personne au courant quand j’ai quitté le matin tout était noir aucune lumière

On te demande de signer quand tu prends une serviette très étrange
Pas de place ou changer l’argent
Certains bavent pas internet dan leur chambre
J’ai manqué d’eau quelque fois dans ma chambre toilette robinet douche
Pas ou très peu d’eau chaude dans la douche
Il faut tout amener savon shampoing etc,
Piscine verte et pas ouverte
Pas de spa non plus
Fitzroy à la cuisine très gentil et travaillant
Les 2 hommes de sécurie gentils aussi
Les locaux très insistants sur la page

Ideally, take rooms on the 2nd floor. The food is simple, not for caviar princesses. Beautiful beach. Steve offers better prices for excursions than Sunwing, but you have to negotiate and calculate.

idéalement prendre des chambres au 2 eime etage la nourriture est simple pas faite pour les princesses caviar belle plage et Steve fait des meilleurs prix pour les excursions que sunwing mais il faut négocier et calculer

It was what I expected, the beach was superb, the staff very kind and respectful. The food was good, don't forget that it's a 45 room hotel so don't expect a buffet like in the big resorts. The only slight disappointment was that there was a shortage of beer and wine at the bars, it seems like it's rationed.

La nourriture était bonne il ne faut pas oublier que c est un 45 chambre alors il ne faut pas s attendre à un buffet comme dans les grands complexe. Seule petite déception c est qu il manquait de bières et de vin au bars on dirait que c est rationné

1-the pool hasn't been working for a long time 2-the mattresses are good for the trash, the pillows are also good for the trash and smell bad and only one sheet to shelter 3-sand fleas in the bed, I woke up with new bites every morning and there is mold in the room (everyone coughs in the morning even the children and we were congested until we left. 4-outdated faucets, lack of pressure and sometimes hot water. 5-buffets never on time, hungry customers who line up and are afraid of missing out. Cold food 6-instant coffee and water not hot enough to brew tea 7-everything is closed at 10 p.m. even the lights 8- I wanted to change hotels on day 1 but the representative didn't really want to help us, we had to find out where there was room left ourselves. I wanted to buy an excursion but I never saw the representative again from Sunwing even though I had asked the reception when it would be there. The worst thing is that I'm sure I'll forget some. If I had known, I would have paid the extra $500 per person to avoid a week of misery. That's what it cost us in food and drinks for the week to make up for the lack and we don't even drink alcohol.

1-a piscine ne fonctionne pas depuis longtemps
2-les matelas sont bon pour la poubelle, les oreillers sont aussi bons pour la poubelle et sentent mauvais et un seul drap pour s’abriller
3-puces de sable dans le lit, je me levais avec des nouvelles piqure tout les matins et il y a des moisissures dans la chambre ( tout le monde tousse le matin même les enfants et nous avons été congestionné jusqu’à notre départ.
4-robinetterie désuète, manque de pression et parfois d’eau chaude.
5-buffets jamais à l’heure, clients affamés qui font la ligne et peur d’en manquer. Manger froid
6-café instant et eau pas assez chaude pour infuser un thé
7-tout est fermé à10h du soir même les lumières
8- J’ai voulu changer d’hôtel au jour 1 mais la representante ne voulait pas vraiment nous aider, il fallait trouver nous-mêmes où y restait de la place. j’ai voulu acheter une excursion mais je n’ai jamais revu la représentante de Sunwing même si j’avais demandé à la réception quand elle serait là

Le pire c’est que je suis sur d’en oublier. Avoir su, j’aurais payer le 500$ de plus par personne pour ne pas passer une semaine de misère. C’est ce que ça nous a coûté de nourriture et de boisson pour la semaine afin de palier au manque et on ne boit même pas d’alcool.
