Wonderful family week
Semaine en famille merveilleuse
We were a group of 6 adults and 2 children. The staff were really kind and attentive. The hotel is beautiful and clean. I gave it a 7 for the beach because there was seaweed, but the staff cleaned it up early in the morning and continuously throughout the day; however, Mother Nature was against them. A very nice holiday, I recommend it.

Jai noté 7 pour la plage car il y avait des algues mais le personnel nettoyait les algues tot le matin et en continuité cependant dame nature était contre eux.
De très belles vacances, je la recommande.

Wonderful family holiday

Great stay! The kids had a blast on the water slides and splash pads. We also had access to the Bahia Principe Coba with its additional water attractions. It was pleasant and easy to get around with the shuttle buses. The food was good at the buffets and in the restaurants we tried (Gourmet, Indian), and we didn't get any traveler's diarrhea. There were plenty of organized activities throughout the day to keep everyone entertained. There's also a casino and a market on-site. The rooms are okay, nothing amazing for the price. We had a junior suite since there were four of us, but we didn't have any problems with the air conditioning, and everything was still functional and clean. We had requested a playpen/crib for the baby, and we got one. The downsides: 1) You don't go to Mexico for the beaches; there's a lot of sargassum seaweed, even though people try to collect it. But there are plenty of swimming pools to compensate. 2) You have to pay extra for commercial or higher-quality alcohol. 3) It's about a 1-hour bus ride from Tulum airport. However, most hotels are far from Tulum airport. But Tulum airport is very nice compared to Cancun's.
Beau séjour, les enfants ont beaucoup joués dans les glissades et jeux d'eaux. On avait aussi accès au bahia principe Coba avec d'autres jeux d'eaux. C'était agréable et facile d'accès avec les petites navettes. La nourriture était bonne aux buffets et dans les restaurants que nous avons essayé (Gourmet, Indien), aucun problème de tourista. Beaucoup d'activité organisé au cours de la journée pour divertir les gens. Casino et marché sur place.
More... Less...les chambres sont ok, rien de wow pour le prix payé. Nous avions une suite junior vu que nous étions 4, mais nous n'avons pas eu de problème d'air clim et tout était quand même fonctionnel et propre. On avait demandé un parc pour le dodo (bassinette/crib), et nous l'avons eu pour le bébé.
les points négatifs:
1) tu ne vas pas au mexique pour la plage, beaucoup de sargasses, même si les gens essayent de les ramasser. Mais beaucoup de piscines pour compenser.
2) tu dois payer un supplément pour de l'alcool commercial ou meilleur qualité
3) 1h d'autobus environ de l'aeroport de Tulum. mais bon, la plupart des hotels sont loins de l'aeroport de Tulum. Mais l'aeroport de Tulum est très jolie vs Celle de Cancun

Lovely stay, beautiful hotel

We stayed for 9 days from January 29th to February 7th, 2026. The hotel is clean and well-maintained. The staff is very friendly. There are several pools and chairs are always available despite the number of guests. It's a little harder to find chairs on the beach at certain times, but we always managed to find some in the end. The most beautiful beach is at the north end of the resort. There are a few rocks in the water, so water shoes are highly recommended. The further south you go, the less beautiful the beach becomes. The à la carte restaurants are very good, but good luck making reservations. You should have downloaded the hotel app and booked 10 days in advance. We did manage to book our four restaurants on-site, but it was a hassle to check the app several times a day for cancellations, so we didn't have much choice of restaurant or time. The buffet was quite good and varied. The Wi-Fi was excellent, even on the beach!

More... Less...l'hotel est propre et bien entretenu. Le personnel est très gentil.
plusieurs piscines et toujours des chaises disponibles malgré le nombre de gens.
un peu plus difficile pour les chaises à la plage à certaines heures, mais on a toujours fini par trouver.
la plage la plus belle est à l'extrémité nord du complexe. il y a un peu de roche quand même dans l'eau donc des souliers sont très appréciées. plus on va vers le sud,moins la plage est belle.
les restaurants à la carte sont très bons, mais bonne chance pour réserver. il aurait fallut télécharger l'application de l'hotel et réserver 10 jours d'avance. On a quand même réussi à réserver sur place nos 4 restos, mais c'était de la job plusieurs fois par jour de vérifier l'app pour voir si y a des annulations et donc pas trop le choix du resto et de l'heure.
Buffet plutôt bon et varié.
wifi très bon même sur la plage!!
