Devossion By Live Aqua Playa Del Carmen

The Devossion by Live Aqua hotel is a beautiful, modern, mid-sized hotel that recently opened (February 2026) and is located a 5-minute walk from 5th Avenue in Playa Del Carmen. The welcome is very professional and friendly. All the staff are courteous and respectful, and they clearly demonstrate their pleasure in being there to make guests' stays enjoyable. My room was comfortable and spacious, and the housekeeping was excellent every day. Unlike most all-inclusive hotels, there is no buffet-style restaurant except for the Liberi restaurant for lunch. I tried all the restaurants. The food served is excellent, and the personalized service adds a special touch. My favorite was the Italian restaurant, Fiorella. The only negative point I encountered during my stay was the inability to swim in the sea due to sargassum seaweed. Unfortunately, it's that time of year. I would not hesitate to recommend this hotel to friends and to visit it again in the future.

L'hôtel Devossion by Live Aqua est un bel hôtel moderne de taille moyenne ouvert récemment (février 2026) et situé à 5 minutes de marche de la 5è avenue à Playa Del Carmen.

L'accueil est fait de manière très professionnelle et cordiale. L’ensemble du personnel est courtois, respectueux et il démontre qu’ils sont heureux d’être là pour rendre le séjour agréable.

Ma chambre était confortable, spacieuse et le ménage bien fait à chaque jour.

Contrairement à la majorité des hôtels "tout inclus", il n'y a pas de restaurant de type buffet sauf au restaurant Liberi pour le déjeuner. J'ai fait la tournée de tous les restaurants. La nourriture servie est excellente et le service personnalisé ajoute un petit cachet spécial. Mon coup de coeur va restaurant italien Fiorella.


Le seul point négatif à soulever durant mon séjour fut l'impossibilité de se baigner à la mer à cause des sargasses. Malheureusement, c'est la période de l'année.

Je n'hésiterai pas à recommander cet hôtel à des amis et à le visiter à nouveau dans le futur.

Our best trip ever! Attentive staff, exceptional food, and a wow room... We wanted for nothing. The restaurants: The grill in the morning was worthy of a top restaurant, and the same for dinner. The sushi restaurant option was fabulous... From filet mignon to flambéed sushi, everything to delight the palate. Even the option of lunch service by the pool or on the beach—nothing was overlooked. A dream of flavor. And what about the speakeasy... a beautiful little bar hidden in the basement... accessed via an emergency exit near the grill restaurant (a great concept)... perhaps not well-known by some travelers because it's so well hidden... And the DJ... Wonderful, smiling, and attentive, delighting our ears with our musical choices... The service... speechless. Having my chairs reserved by the staff in the morning without having to rush to get a seat, and the drink selection was perfect. In the room, stripping my bed in the evening, cleaning, and a little extra touch—exceptional! The smiles and pleasure of chatting with the staff, and the attention paid to making our stay memorable – mission accomplished! I don't want to overlook a few people who made our stay truly special: Ady and Allan at the pool, making sure we had everything we needed; Roberto and Angel (even though that's not his real name 😜, it's his tag) at the bar... and many more, but I haven't listed them all... The entertainment was good, never quite enough for us party animals, but we found what we were looking for at the Speak Easy! It's definitely a 15/10... We will definitely be back... Having tried several hotel chains... This one is top-notch!

Notre plus beau voyage à vie, personnel attentionné, nourriture exceptionnelle et chambre wow....On n'a manqué de rien..

Les restos : Le grill en matinée digne de grand resto, au souper même chose. Option resto sushis, encore là fabuleux...Du filet mignon aux sushi flambés, tout pour ravir le palais. Même l'option de service de lunch autour de la piscine ou à la plage, rien n'a été mis de côté. Des rêves de saveur.

et que dire du Speakeasy...beau p’tit bar caché au sous-sol....dont l'accès pour s'y rendre est une sortie de secours près du resto grill (beau concept) ...juste peut-être méconnu par certains voyageurs car bien caché ....que dire le la DJ...Merveilleuse, souriante et attentionnée pour ravir nos oreilles de nos choix musicaux...

Le service...sans mot, faire réserver mes chaises le matin par le personnel sans courir pour avoir ma place, choix de boissons parfait. A la chambre, défaire mon en lit en soirée, nettoyage et petite attention, exceptionnel !!! Le sourire et le plaisir de jaser avec le personnel et l'attention portée à notre endroit pour rendre notre séjour mémorable - Mission accomplie.

Je ne veux pas passer sous silence quelques personnes qui ont marqués notre séjour: Ady et Allan à la piscine pour qu'on ne manque de rien. Roberto et Angel (même si c'est pas son vrai nom 😜c'est son tag ) au bar....et plus encore mais pas tout noté.....

Animation était bien, jamais assez pour nous les festifs mais on y a trouvé notre compte au Speak Easy !

C'est un 15/10 ASSURÉMENT....Nous y retournerons assurément…Pour avoir essayé plusieurs chaînes d'hôtel...C'est un TOP !!!!

It's a very beautiful place, with very friendly and polite staff. The hotel is luxurious and extremely clean. The restaurants are good but few in number, so the menus can become repetitive. The beach is small, fairly clean, and has a decent number of chairs. The location is perfect for going into town, as the hotel is usually dead in the evenings. It's perfect for couples, but it's worth considering whether it's overpriced during peak season.

C’est une très bel endroit, personnel très sympathique et polis. Hôtel luxueux et extrêmement propre. Les restos sont bons mais peu nombreux donc peut devenir redondant comme menus. Plage petite, assez propre et chaises en quantité correcte. Localisation parfaite pour aller en ville car le soir c’est généralement mort à l’hôtel. Pour couple d’amoureux c’est parfait, mais à voir si pour le prix en haute saison c’est pas hors de prix comme endroit.
