Grand Memories Splash

Very good hotel, we loved our trip. Only downside, we had taken the Diamond club (which is worth it) especially because we did not want to wait for check-in, and upon arrival, we were told that we were out of hours and that we would have to wait with the others. Not that it is catastrophic or that we are divas, but when you pay for something, it is fun to have it. So know that if you arrive at the hotel after 11 a.m. I think, .. no diamond check in Positive: -Courteous and service staff -Water slide -Perfect for children Negative: -Small pools -"Ordinary" drinks at the bar (if you like bananamama, you will be disappointed) -Ordinary coffee, but if you go to the Royalton at the Scoop (it is included), the coffee is good

Très bon hotel, nous avons adoré notre voyage. Seul bémol, nous avions pris le club Diamond (qui vaut la peine) surtout car nous ne voulions pas attendre pour le check-in, et a l'arrivée, on s'est fait dire qu'on était en dehors de heure et qu'on devrait attendre avec les autres. Pas que ce soit catastrophique ou que l'on soit des divas, mais quand tu paie pour qqchose, c'est le fun de l'avoir. Sachez donc que si vous arrivez a l'hotel apres 11h je crois, .. pas de diamond check in Positif : -Personnel courtois et de service

-Parfait pour les enfants Négatif : -Petites piscines
-Boissons "ordinaires" au bar (si vous aimez le bananamama, vous allez être decu)
-Café ordinaire, mais si vous allez au Royalton au Scoop (c'Est inclus), le café est bon

We were relocated to the Royalton on the beach. Positive: Lots of sun. Several staff members were able to speak French. Good show at the Royalton theater. Beach towels everywhere. The Royalton buffet was much better than the Memories Splash buffet. Pedro and José at the Royalton pool bar are excellent, funny, and friendly. Very frequent shuttle to get from one resort to another. Negative: Food at the Italian restaurant. Seaweed in the water at the beach. Lukewarm refrigerator in the room. Blocked sink. Toilet that backs up. Salt and pepper that doesn't flow at the restaurant. Wrong time for our reservation at the Zen restaurant. 8:30 with children was too late... Aggressive salespeople on the site and way too expensive. They sold 3 wooden sculptures for $85 us to my partner when the same ones were available at the souvenir shop for $4, $12 and $20. A very unpleasant bartender at the bar in front of the restaurant under the sea on Thursday evenings. If you are not Spanish-speaking, he despises you and does not even hide it... I did not pay for a vacation of this price to go and be insulted. No seafood. A chef at the buffet offered me a lobster for $15 us... I thought it was an all-inclusive. I have eaten better in Jamaica. Very clean water park with many lifeguards but very dangerous. The flooring looks like marble and with wet feet, several people fell on it. Overall good but not enough to make us go back.

Pedro et José au bar de la piscine du royalton sont excellent, drôle et chaleureux. navette très fréquente pour circuler d'un resort à l'autre. Négatif : Bouffe au resto italien.
Algues dans l'eau à la plage.
Frigidaire tiède dans la chambre.
Lavabo bloqué.
Toilette qui refoule.
Sel et poivre qui ne coule pas au resto.
Erreurs d'heure pour notre réservation au resto Zen. 8h30 avec des enfants c'était trop tard...
Vendeurs agressifs sur le site et beaucoup trop chers. Ils ont vendus 3 sculptures de bois pour 85$ us à ma conjointe alors que les mêmes étaient dispo à la boutique souvenir pour 4$ 12$ et 20$
Un barman très désagréable au bar devant le resto under the sea le jeudi soir. Si vous n'êtes pas hispanophone, il vous méprise et ne s'en cache même pas... je n'ai pas payé des vacances de ce prix pour aller me faire insulter.
Absence de fruits de mer.
Un chef au buffet m'a offert une langouste pour 15$us... je croyais que c'était un tout inclus. J'ai mieux mangé en Jamaïque.
Parc aquatique très propre avec de nombreux secouriste mais très dangereux. Le revêtement de sol ressemble à du marbre et avec les pieds mouillés, plusieurs y ont fait des chutes.
Dans l'ensemble bien mais pas assez pour qu'on y retourne.

I got sick the day before an excursion and had to go see a doctor, paid $170 USD to get a report and still haven't received a refund. Very disappointed with the way you handled these situations. Sunwing Positive: Hotel to recommend Negative: No theater at this hotel, you have to go to the Royalton to get a show and enough seating for everyone

J ai ete malade la veille d un excursion et j ai du obligatoirement aller voir un medecin deboursé 170$us pour avoir un rapport et toujours pas recu de remboursement. Tres decu de la facon dont vous fonctionné dans ces situations. Sunwing Positif : Hotel a recommander Négatif : Aucun theatre a cet hotel faut aller au royalton pour avoir un spectacle et de la place pour tous assise

Very clean hotel, new room, lots of pools, very nice site!!! I recommend!!!!!! Positive: Perfect and uncrowded water park, no waiting at the slides, Royalton beach is easily reached on foot, the turtle and duck pond is impressive for children next to building 29, access to everything at Royalton despite what the website says, perfect for families!! Single-parent discount very appreciated! The Yoyslton performance hall is wow!! No reservations necessary for the à la carte restaurants, always available, dismond club is not necessary at all Negative: Kidsclub has been undone so the photo of the park no longer corresponds and it is impossible to play there The staff is 95% stupid, it's incredible No service at the buffet, it takes a long time to get a drink and sometimes after ordering you never receive it Staff very insistent on offering meals at Royalton but it's a scam you have to go to a meeting and buy something for $10,000... waste of time!! The Diamond Club is useless. We had all the same inclusions as a couple who paid $300 more for the Diamond Club: access to restaurants, bars, pool, express check-in, etc.

Hôtel très propre, chambre neuve, beaucoup de piscines, très beau site!!! Je recommande!!!!!! Positif : Parc aquatique parfait et peu achalandé, aucune attente aux glissades, plage du royalton se fait amplement à pied, l’étang des tortues et canards impressionnant pour les enfants à côté du building 29, accès à tout au royalton malgré ce qu’en dit le site web, parfait pour les familles!! Rabais monoparental très apprécié! La salle de spectacle du yoyslton est wow!! Aucune réservation nécessaire aux resto à la carte, toujours dispo, club dismond n’est aucunement nécessaire Négatif : Kidsclub a été défait donc la photo du parc ne correspond plus et il est impossible d’y jouer

Aucun service au buffet, c’est très long avoir un drink et parfois après la commande on ne le reçoit jamais
Personnel très insistant pour offrir des repas au royalton mais c’est une arnaque il faut aller à une réunion et acheter un truc à 10000$... perte de temps!!
Le club diamond ne sert à rien. Nous avons eu toutes les mêmes inclusions qu’un couple ayant payé 300$ de plus pour le club diamond : accès aux resto, bars, piscine, accueil rapide....
