The overall cleanliness of the resort and rooms is highly appreciated, as is the beautiful beach, perfect for walks. The food is excellent and varied, complemented by courteous staff providing excellent service. Furthermore, the expansive grounds are well-maintained, and the rooms are spacious and comfortable. However, the service is occasionally perceived as slow, and communicating in French at reception can sometimes be a challenge.

Beautiful resort with a few minor points to improve
Beau resort avec des petits points à améliorer
Beautiful, clean resort. Very nice beach. The cocktails were okay, nothing special, but better at the lobby bar. The à la carte restaurants were so-so; it's very difficult to get reservations at the restaurants you want, even if you book a day or two in advance. The Paisana restaurant was 10/10, but the Mexican and Indian meals were very ordinary. Good, varied buffet.

The beach is magnificent 😍

Grand Palladium Select Bavaro - the hotel and room are very clean and well-maintained. The beach is magnificent. The buffets offer a lot of variety, but the food is mediocre. The à la carte restaurants are excellent; book early on your first morning of arrival, otherwise there won't be any availability. The staff are very friendly and wonderful. There are many vendors on the beach. They leave quickly with a "no thank you," but it gets tiring after a while.
Grand Palladium Select Bavaro - l’hôtel et la chambre sont très propres et bien entretenus. La plage magnifique. Les buffets offrent beaucoup de variété mais la bouffe est médiocre. Les restaurants à la carte sont excellents, réservez tôt le premier matin de votre arrivé sinon il n’y aura pas de disponibilité. Les employés sont très chaleureux et magnifiques. Il y a beaucoup de vendeur sur la plage. Ils partent vite avec un non merci mais c’est fatiguant à la longue.

A hotel worth discovering!

It's truly a fantastic resort! It can be a little confusing at first (the reception didn't provide a map or any explanation). You can find everything you need at any time of day: pools for all tastes (bars, activities, quieter spots). The food is excellent (the Palace buffet is incredible in the evening; it's almost not worth going to a restaurant with a menu when you have such a huge buffet!). We loved the Sport Bar, which is open 24/7. It has a small buffet, and you can order pizza! In January 2026, we were able to find chairs at the pool and on the beach at any time of day (the hotel wasn't at full capacity due to room renovations). The best features: Always available spots at the pool and beach, very good food, and incredibly comfortable beds! Grand Resort = always an activity we enjoy. The downsides: The reception: no resort map upon arrival, the next day we had a small problem and had to come back three times before it was resolved. At check-out, the person didn't give us our check-out voucher, which caused a problem when the bus to the airport required it. It's not easy to know which shuttle to take to get to the neighboring resorts (Grand Palladium Punta Cana and Grand Palladium Palace); you always have to inform the driver before boarding, and sometimes the wait is more than 10 minutes. (On the other hand, it's easy to get back to the beach or via the paths between the hotels with a bit of a walk.) It's a very beautiful, luxurious, and very clean hotel!
C'est vraiment un très grand ressort! Au début ça peut être mêlant (la réception n'a pas donnée de carte ni d'explication). On trouve tout ce qu'on a besoin peu importe l'heure : piscines pour tous les goûts (bars, activités, plus tranquille). Côté nourriture tout est excellent (le buffet du Palace est incroyable en soirée, ça vaux presque pas la peine d'aller au resto avec la carte avec un buffet gigantesque comme celui-là!!) Nous avons adorés le Sport Bar qui est ouvert en tout temps, il y a un petit buffet et on peut commander de la pizza! En janvier 2026, nous avions des possibilités de se trouver des chaises à la piscine et à la plage peu importe l'heure de la journée (l'hôtel n'était pas à pleine capacité dû aux rénovations de chambres).

La réception : pas de carte du ressort à l'arrivée, le lendemain nous avons eu un petit problème on a dû revenir trois fois avant que ça se règle. Au check out, la personne ne nous a pas donné notre coupon de chek-out, donc ça la posé problème à larrivée de l'autobus pour l'aéroport qui demandait le coupon.
Pas facile de savoir quelle navette prendre pour aller sur les ressorts voisins (Grand Palladium Punta Cana et Grand Palladium Palace) toujours d'informer au chauffeur avant d'embarquer et parfois le temps d'attente est plus de 10 minutes. (Par contre, on peut revenir facilement sur la plage ou par les chemins entrent les hôtels avec un peu de marche)
C'est un très bel hôtel luxueux et très propre!
