Grand Palladium Select Bavaro

We had a fantastic week. We went as a group of 21 people (7 families). There were children between 5 months and 4 years old. Everyone had a great time in the small pool with the boat and on the beach. We're pretty easygoing people, so everything was perfect for us. Note that we didn't opt for the family selection package, and it really didn't make a difference! We had a lot of fun just the two of us. If you want entertainment for your children, I recommend getting it. Our children had a great time playing together. The pools are great! You have to get to the pizzeria early, otherwise it takes a long time (almost 30 minutes to get it done. Limit of 2 pizzas per person.) but it's really delicious for dinner! The only downside: when you have any kind of problem, the service is slow. You have to ask several times at the lobby. The buffet is generally good. We're quite picky eaters, so I'm not the best judge. No one got sick. The à la carte restaurants are repetitive of the buffet, which is pretty good. Nothing amazing for us. Making reservations on-site was quite difficult. We couldn't get a table at all the restaurants. The app wasn't working.

Une super belle semaine pour nous. Nous sommes partie en groupe de 21 personnes ( 7 familles). Il y avait des enfants entre 5 mois et 4 ans. Tout le monde a eu beaucoup de plaisir dans la petite piscine avec le bateau et a la plage. Nous sommes des gens assez simples donc pour nous tout etait tres bien. Noter que nous n'avons pas pris le family selection et ca change vraiment rien !! on a eu beaucoup de plaisir entre nous. Si vous voulez des animations pour vos enfants, je vous conseille de le prendre. Nos enfants s'amusaient entre eux.
Les piscines sont super !
La pizzeria faut y aller dans les premiers sinon c'est long ( 30 minutes la faire, presque. Limite de 2 par personne.) mais vraiment délicieuse pour diner !!

Points faible : lorsque tu as un probleme quelconque, le service est lent. tu dois demander a plusieurs reprises au lobby.
Le buffet est somme toute bon. On est assez difficile en nourriture donc je ne suis pas une référence. Personne n'a été malade.
Les restaurants a la carte sont répétitifs du buffet pomal. Rien d'épatant pour notre part. Les reservations sur place sont assez difficile. Nous n'avons pas pu avoir tous les restaurants. L'application ne marchait pas.

This is a hotel I recommend, especially for those who like large resorts! We stayed at the Select Bavaro (but had access to almost all the beaches). I've seen more beautiful beaches; it's not very wide, and unfortunately, there was a lot of sargassum seaweed when we went in June! The Asian restaurant was our favorite of all the ones we tried. As for daytime entertainment, there wasn't enough for my taste. However, there were several pool options. Cleanliness was excellent, whether it was the rooms, restaurants, or the resort in general. The staff was friendly, except for two or three people in particular whose attitude disappointed us.

C'est un hôtel que je recommande, pour ceux qui aime les grands complexes évidemment! Nous avons séjourné au Select Bavaro (mais accès presque partout)
J'ai déja vu plus belle plage, elle n'est pas très large et malheureusement beaucoup de sargasses quand nous sommes allés en Juin!
Le restaurant asiatique a été notre favoris parmi ceux qu'on a été.
Côté animation le jour, il n'en avait pas suffisamment a mon goût. Plusieurs choix de piscines par contre.
La propreté est au rendez vous que ce soit chambre, restaurants ou complexe en général.
Le personnel a été gentil, mis a part 2-3 personnes en particulier qui nous ont déçus par leur attitude.

Beautiful, clean resort. Very nice beach. The cocktails were okay, nothing special, but better at the lobby bar. The à la carte restaurants were so-so; it's very difficult to get reservations at the restaurants you want, even if you book a day or two in advance. The Paisana restaurant was 10/10, but the Mexican and Indian meals were very ordinary. Good, varied buffet.

Grand Palladium Select Bavaro - the hotel and room are very clean and well-maintained. The beach is magnificent. The buffets offer a lot of variety, but the food is mediocre. The à la carte restaurants are excellent; book early on your first morning of arrival, otherwise there won't be any availability. The staff are very friendly and wonderful. There are many vendors on the beach. They leave quickly with a "no thank you," but it gets tiring after a while.

Grand Palladium Select Bavaro - l’hôtel et la chambre sont très propres et bien entretenus. La plage magnifique. Les buffets offrent beaucoup de variété mais la bouffe est médiocre. Les restaurants à la carte sont excellents, réservez tôt le premier matin de votre arrivé sinon il n’y aura pas de disponibilité. Les employés sont très chaleureux et magnifiques. Il y a beaucoup de vendeur sur la plage. Ils partent vite avec un non merci mais c’est fatiguant à la longue.
