Grand Park Royal Cancun

I stayed at the Grand Park Royal Cancún hotel and my experience was very disappointing. The restaurant was poor quality: the food was limited and often cold. Some staff members were friendly, but overall, the service was inconsistent. There is no proper smoking area. You have to smoke on the side of the path between the hotel and the entrance, which is completely disorganized and unpleasant. There isn't even a proper lobby bar, and everything closes very early, so there's practically nothing to do in the evening. The harassment for timeshares is constant. You're approached regularly, which quickly becomes intrusive and disruptive during a vacation. The bed was uncomfortable, making it difficult to sleep well. On top of that, there was renovation work going on during my stay, with debris falling onto my balcony—completely unacceptable and dangerous. Honestly, I do not recommend this hotel. For the price, there are much better options in Cancún.

J’ai séjourné à l’hôtel Grand Park Royal Cancún et mon expérience a été très décevante.
Le restaurant était de mauvaise qualité : nourriture peu variée et souvent froide. Certains membres du personnel étaient gentils, mais dans l’ensemble, le service manquait de constance.
Il n’y a aucune vraie zone fumeur. On doit aller fumer sur le bord du chemin entre l’hôtel et l’entrée, ce qui est complètement mal organisé et désagréable.
Il n’y a même pas de vrai lobby bar, et tout ferme très tôt, donc il n’y a pratiquement rien à faire en soirée.
Le harcèlement pour les timeshares est constant. On se fait approcher régulièrement, ce qui devient vite envahissant et dérangeant pendant les vacances.
Le lit était inconfortable, difficile de bien dormir.
En plus de ça, il y avait des rénovations pendant mon séjour, avec des débris qui tombaient jusqu’à mon balcon — totalement inacceptable et dangereux.
Honnêtement, je ne recommande pas cet hôtel. Pour le prix, il y a beaucoup mieux à Cancún.

We found THE place, that’s it, we wont try something else.
The most important thing for us is to be clean and to have a nice beach. The hotel is very clean, the personnel make us feel royal, they are very polite and helpful, the beach is amazing, the food is good. The only downside : there is not a lot of shade on the beach but if you have a butler there is no issue, the butler reserves the belibed for you on the beach or by the pool.
Cant wait to go back.

Great vacation! The only downside was the solicitation for a timeshare condo. Information upon arrival seemed incomplete; some details were incorrect.

On the 6th floor, there's a very nice view, but you have to insist at reception to get it. The restaurants and the buffet are very good, but since they don't take reservations, you have to wait (especially at the Asian restaurant, where we waited for two hours). One evening a week, the Italian restaurant closes, and the Mexican restaurant, on that same evening, only accepted people with reservations (members), so once again, there was a long line at the Asian restaurant. We went to the buffet, which was good, but noisy, with too much echo. You can eat outside at the buffet, but that evening it was too cold. The resort is very beautiful, very clean, and the staff is very friendly. The beach is nice for walking, the wine is okay, and the airport is about 30 minutes away. There's not much entertainment, which is what we like; out of seven days, there were two very noisy evenings, but they ended at 11 p.m.

Au 6 ième étage, très belle vue, mais il faut insister à la réception.pour l’avoir. Les restaurants et le buffet sont très bons, mais , comme il n’y a pas de réservations il faut attendre (surtout à l’Asiatique, où notre attente a été de 2 heures). Un soir par semaine l’Italien ferme et le Mexicain , ce même soir, n’acceptait que les gens avec réservation (les membres) donc encore une fois longue file à l’Asiatique, nous sommes allés au buffet , bon , mais bruyant, trop écho. Au buffet on peut manger dehors , mais ce soir là c’était trop froid.
Le site est très beau, très propre et le personnel est très gentil. La plage est belle pour marcher, le vin est ok, la distance de l’aéroport est environ 30 minutes. Peu d’animation, c’est ce que nous aimons, sur 7 jours deux soirées très bruyantes, mais qui se sont terminées à 11pm.

L'affaire qui m'a embêté concerne la concièrge quand elle a voulu nous vendre le membrship et quand on a refusé elle a pris un air impoli pour le restant de notre séjour
