A very successful family vacation
Vacances familiales très réussie
Week of December 6th to 13th, 2025. We had a wonderful week at the Grand Sirenis! Upon arrival, we were upgraded to the Mayan, which had been refreshed compared to the Riviera. I was surprised by how delicious the à la carte restaurants were. The concierge system for reservations was the most efficient I've seen in all my travels. No waiting and incredibly efficient. I got the time I wanted for my chosen restaurant that very morning! The resort was impeccably clean. The rooms are adequate for the short stay, and the air conditioning is very effective. The beach isn't really for lounging, and we knew that before booking, but we're not a family that loves the beach. However, I knew there were fish that we could swim with right from the water's edge, and that was a must for my daughter with her mask. It's truly a peaceful and tranquil resort; I'll definitely go back!

More... Less...Nous avons passé une merveilleuse semaine au grand sirenis! A notre arrivée nous avons ete upgradrer pour le Mayan qui a ete rafraîchi versus le riviera.
J’ai ete surprise par les resto a la carte comment ils etaient delicieux. Le systeme de concierge pour les réservations étaient le plus efficace que j’ai vue de tout mes voyages. Aucune attente et super efficace. J’avais l’heure que je voulais pour le resto désiré le matin meme ! La propreté du resort était impeccable. Les chambres sont correct pour le peu qu’on y passe et la clim est super efficace.
La plage n’est pas vraiment pour s’y prélasser et nous le savions avant d’y booker mais nous ne sommes pas une famille qui aimons la plage. Par contre, je savais qu’il y avais des poissons qu’on pouvait nager avec eux directement en rentrant dans la mer et cela fut un must pour ma fille avec son masque.
C’est vraiment un resort paisible et tranquille, j’y retournerai!

The cleanliness and the food were very good.

A very nice hotel, beautiful decor, with monkeys that come into the lobby from time to time. The food, coffee, and drinks were perfect. The staff is very courteous. I would recommend this hotel.

Bad hotel

Very disappointing experience. The beach photos on the website are misleading — in reality, it’s full of seaweed, making it impossible to swim. On top of that, the smell near the beach is unbearable. The restaurant service is terrible. The buffet staff are rude, and if you don’t tip at least $5 USD, expect to be ignored the next time. I also tried using their room service — I called and waited over two hours, but no one came. When I followed up, they said they had forgotten and didn’t have anyone available to deliver. I ended up going to bed hungry.
I strongly advise against staying at this hotel.
