The only thing to be careful about is not booking excursions from the vendors on the beach. They're good at selling you a dream.

The only downside was that water from the shower overflowed into the bathroom (either due to poor slope in their tiles or an inefficient drain). There was a bit of sargassum seaweed, but that wasn't their fault. The water in front of the hotel was rather brown, and the bottom was a bit rocky, making it less pleasant to see. There were also occasional septic tank smells, which wasn't ideal either. The guests seemed to start their day very late, so it was very easy to get good chairs at the pool or beach; the hotel was almost empty. The renovations have made it a great hotel; the buffets are clean, attractive, and delicious. The staff is friendly and helpful. Housekeeping seems to work harder when you tip them. I usually tip at the end of my trip, but since the service declined after a day or two without a tip, I didn't leave anything. I would definitely go back; it seems like a versatile hotel for couples or families.

Less...un peu de sargasse mais c'est pas leur faute, l'eau devant l'hotel est plutôt brune et le fond est rocailleux un peu, on voit pas le fond donc c'est moins plaisant. odeurs de fosse septique par moment c'est pas l'idéal non plus. Le monde présent semblait commencer leur journée très tard donc tres facile d'obtenir des bonnes chaises a la piscine ou a la plage, l'hotel était presque vide. les rénovations en font un hotel super, les buffets sont propres, beau et bons. le personnel est gentil et serviable. l'entretien ménager semble travailler plus fort lorsqu'on les tip, j'ai l'habitude de tipper a la fin du voyage mais comme le service a baissé après une journée ou deux sans tip j'ai rien laissé. J'y retournerais encore, en couple ou en famille ca semble un hotel versatile.

Apart from the beach, where the water wasn't a beautiful blue and there was a lot of sargassum seaweed, everything else was very enjoyable.

Wonderful vacation
Superbes vacances
We were in the platinum section. Everything was perfect. The food was excellent, the staff always courteous, a very large but well-managed resort. I would gladly return.
