The buffet was okay but always cold, probably because it was by the beach. I was expecting to eat things that were eaten cold.

The hotel is dated, but clean. There's an artificial beach and, most importantly, a beautiful reef teeming with fish—well worth diving in. The buffet doesn't have a huge selection, but there's always something good. It's well located, close to the city center. The hotel caters to a quiet, older clientele, perfect for relaxing. The hotel met our expectations for a 3.5-star hotel.

L'hôtel est vieillot, mais propre.
Il ya une fausse plage et surtout, un beau récif rempli de poissons, ca vaut la peine d'y plonger.
Au buffet, il n'y a pas 10 000 choix, mais il y a toujours quelque chose de bon.
Bien situé, proche du centre ville.
Hôtel avec clientèle âgée et tranquille, parfait pour relaxer.
L'hôtel a rempli nos attentes d'un 3.5 etoiles.

We were looking for a quiet place for snorkeling near Centro. This hotel is perfectly located for that! A 15-minute walk from St. Miguel! Dive center on site. November being the off-season, it's incredibly peaceful, which is exactly what we wanted. The food was very good. In the evenings, there were themed dinners, and the à la carte menu was sometimes served by the sea with BBQ – a delight! The staff was attentive. The place and the room were very clean. Yes, you have to cross the street or go through the tunnel, but rest assured, it's very safe. Drinking water is readily available. At $1112 CAD for one week, it's definitely worth it!

Nous cherchions un endroit tranquille et pour le snorkeling et près du Centro. Cet hôtel est bien situé pour ça! 15 minutes à pieds de St Miguel! Centre de plongée sur place. Novembre en hors saison, c’est hyper tranquille et c’est ce qu’on voulait. La bouffe très bonne. Le soir il y avait thématique et à la carte était parfois sur le bord de la mer avec BBQ Un délice. Le personnel était attentionné. L’endroit et la chambre très propres. Oui faut traverser la rue ou prendre le tunnel, mais sachez que c’est très sécuritaire. Eau potable très accessible.
Pour 1112$ CAD pour 1 semaine vaut vraiment la peine!

We went there for the diving... we just looked at the pool and didn't pay attention to whether there were any activities... we appreciated the calm (except for the small group of loudmouths who thought they could do anything... but it's not the hotel's fault). We relied on the proximity of the dive center and we were well served, just across the street. Unlike other all-inclusives, we weren't rushed to eat so as not to miss the boat. In general, it takes an hour or so to get to the first dive site. You have to be independent and not rely on the DMs to ensure your safety, they are there to guide, I would suggest to novices to go elsewhere to start, with the current you have to control your buoyancy... if you pop towards the surface, the current can quickly take you away from the group. You have to get used to the idea that you change boats and DMs every day, and remember to bring the tip on each outing. The lockers are square and big enough for all the gear, but nothing will dry. We just brought the wetsuits back to the room and the balconies are well equipped to dry anything you want. I suggest using a mesh bag to make it easier to transfer the gear from the locker to the boat. The rooms are comfortable, a little outdated, but they seem to be renovating everything in stages. We didn't starve, but we can't say we enjoyed ourselves, the à la carte restaurants were a change, nothing more... and book as soon as you arrive if you want to go there. They are offered on Mondays, Wednesdays and Saturdays, always by the pool, but with different menus. The trip didn't cost us much and I would say we got our money's worth, we weren't disappointed because our expectations weren't for a 4 or 5 star. Dive Paradise is a decent dive center. We've seen better... but we've also seen worse. There are only two rinsing basins, when there are 4 boats going out, it takes a lot of people to get together to rinse everything in the same water. Elsewhere, the wets are rinsed separately... I'm not keen on the idea of rinsing my regulator last, after who knows how many wets that in sight yellow... but the necessary is there and that's what mattered to us.

On y allait pour la plongée... on a juste regarder la piscine et pas porté attention s'il y avait des activités... on a apprécié le calme (à l'exception du petit groupe de grandes gueules qui se pensait tout permis... mais c'est pas la faute de l'hôtel). Nous, on misait sur la proximité du centre de plongée et on été bien servi, juste de l'autre côté de la rue. Contrairement à d'autres tout inclus, on était pas bousculé pour manger afin de ne pas manquer le bateau. En général, il faut compter une heure plus ou moins pour se rendre au premier site de plongée. Il faut être autonome et ne pas compter sur les DM pour assurer votre sécurité, ils sont là pour guider, je suggèrerais aux novices d'aller ailleurs pour commencer, avec le courant il faut bien contrôler la flottabilité... si on pop vers la surface, le courant peut nous éloigner rapidement du groupe. Il faut se faire à l'idée qu'on change de bateau et de DM à chaque jour, et penser à apporter le tip à chaque sortie. Les casiers sont carrés et assez grands pour tout l'équipement, mais rien ne va sécher. On ramenait simplement les wets à la chambre et les balcons sont bien équipés pour faire sécher tout ce que vous voulez. Je suggère d'utiliser un sac filet pour faciliter le transfert de l'équipement du casier vers le bateau. Les chambres sont confortables, un peu désuètes, mais ils semblent être en voie de rénover le tout par étapes. On n'est pas mort de faim, mais on ne peut pas dire qu'on s'est régalé, les resto à la cartes faisait changement, sans plus... et réservez dès votre arrivée si ça vous tente d'y aller. Ils sont offerts les lundi, mercredi et samedi, toujours au bord de la piscine, mais avec des menus différents. Le voyage ne nous pas coûté cher et je dirais qu'on en a eut pour notre argent, on a pas été déçus parce que nos attentes n'étaient pas pour un 4 ou 5 étoiles. Dive Paradise est un centre de plongée correct. On a vue mieux.... mais on aussi vue pire. Il y a juste deux bassins de rinçage, quand il y a 4 bateaux qui sortent, ça faut beaucoup de monde qui se ramasse à tout rinser dans la même eau. Ailleurs, les wets sont rinser à part... je suis pas chaude à l'idée de rinser mon régulateur en dernier, après qui sait combien de wets qui in vue jaune... mais le nécessaire est là et c'est ce qui comptait pour nous.
