Hotel quite impressive in its history. This is a real step back in time. The Historico bar is a must, as well as its mojitos. We are quite satisfied with our choice. This is a must. Positive: Great location in Havana for a visit of the city. Close to the tourist bus (2 blocks). Several restaurants are just fine all around. Pleasant environment (swimming pools, terrace overlooking the sea, small bars). Very collaborative staff. Food quite good (remember that we are in Cuba). Negative: Room very humid, but not odors. It sometimes feel upset with our credit cards. Many escorts at the hotel, which can sometimes surprise (sometimes they are very young).

C'est un incontournable. Positif : Très bien situé dans La Havane pour effectuer une visite de la ville. Proche du bus touristique (2 coins de rue). Plusieurs restaurants tout à fait convenables tout au tour. Environnement des plus agréables (piscines, terrasse coté mer, petits bars). Personnel très collaboratif. Nourriture tout à fait bonne (faut se rappeler que nous sommes à Cuba). Négatif : Chambre très humide, mais pas d'odeurs. On a parfois l'impression de déranger avec nos cartes de crédit. Beaucoup d'escortes à l'Hôtel, ce qui parfois peut étonner (parfois, elles sont très jeunes).

Positive: Very nice place to visit Havana. Old hotel, but pleasant and relaxing. Very comfortable beds. Short taxi rides to everywhere, except the beach, about 30 minutes away (between $15 and $20 one way). Beautiful beaches with few people. Very safe around the hotel, on foot. Negative: Carpets need changing. BE CAREFUL, BE CAREFUL EVEN AT THE HOTEL, because I have known people have their cameras stolen while eating in the courtyard outside the hotel. Never seen the camera again. So, average security and staff service after the theft = ZERO. Don't forget that you are in a poor country. Warning: very soon, don't forget the mandatory hospital insurance that will be required before entering Cuba. Otherwise, they will sell it to you on the spot...??$$$??...
