Hotel Plaza

We spent 6 nights at the Plaza Hotel. Upon arrival, we refused our room because the furniture was broken and the bedspread was stained. It took 3 more rooms before we got one that was suitable (it was on the 4th floor) and the day after our first night they changed our room to a less suitable one. The staff is very attentive to our needs and very friendly, they do what they can to ensure we have a good stay. The common areas are good but the rooms are outdated (those on the 2nd floor). We liked the breakfasts and the location of the hotel which is ideal for exploring the city on foot. 3 days to visit Havana is enough and we left the city to visit the village of Vinales for 2 days, even though our package was 7 days in Havana. We really enjoyed seeing something else. I recommend combining Havana with another destination in a 7-day trip.

Nous avons passé 6 nuits à 'hôtel Plaza. À notre arrivée, nous avons refusé notre chambre car le mobilier était brisé et le couvre lit taché. Il a fallu 3 autres chambres avant d'en avoir une qui convenait (elle était au 4ième étage) et le lendemain de notre première nuit ils nous ont changé de chambre pour une moins adéquate. Le personnel est très attentif à nos besoins et très sympathique, ils font ce qu'ils peuvent pour qu'on passe un bon séjour. Les lieux communs sont biens mais les chambres désuètes (celles du 2 ième étage). Nous avons aimé les déjeuners et la localisation de l'hôtel qui est idéale pour découvrir la ville à pied. 3 jours pour visiter La Havane est suffisant et nous avons quitté la ville pour visiter le village de Vinales pendant 2 jours, malgré que notre forfait était de 7 jours à La Havane. Cela nous a beaucoup plus de voir autre chose. Je recommande de combiner La Havane avec une autre destination dans un voyage de 7 jours.

This hotel should not be offered by Voyages à rabais because unfortunately we encountered many problems. Firstly, contrary to the hotel description and confirmed by the agency, no safe is functional in the entire hotel. The staff informed us that the administration plans to replace them soon! In addition, over 7 days, 4 days we were completely without water for a few hours! The last day they brought a tanker truck to supply the hotel with water. The internet works intermittently! We visited 5 rooms before finding a working television! In addition, the hotel is undergoing renovations, which we did not know! However, the rooms were clean and the staff very courteous and attentive to resolve the problems. The breakfast buffet was very good!

C'est hôtel ne devrait pas être proposée par Voyages à rabais car hélas nous avons rencontré beaucoup de problèmes . Dans un premier temps contrairement à la description de l'hôtel et confirmé par l'agence aucun coffre fort n'est fonctionnel dans tout l'hôtel. Le personnel nous a informé que l'administration prévoyait les changer prochainement! De plus sur 7 jours , 4 jours nous avons manqué d'eau complètement pour quelques heures! La dernière journée ils ont faits venir un camion citerne pour approvisionner l'hôtel en eau. L'internet fonctionne de façon intermittente! Nous avons visité 5 chambres avant de trouver une télévision fonctionnelle! De plus l'hôtel est en rénovation ce que nous ne savions pas!
Toutefois les chambres étaient propres et le personnel très courtois et intentionné afin de résoudre les problèmes.
Le buffet déjeuner était très bien !

Very simple but decent room. A bit old. Bathroom a bit dirty. Needs some minor renovations. Positive: Very friendly and kind staff. Nice terrace for breakfast. Internet works well. Well located in Old Havana. Negative: The hotel could use some renovations to make it more pleasant.

Chambre très simple mais correct. Un peu vieux. Salle de bain un peu sale. Besoin de petits rénovations. Positif : Personnel très sympathique et gentil. Belle terrasse pour le petit déjeuner. Internet marche bien.
Bien situé dans la vieille havane. Négatif : L'hôtel pourrait utiliser des rénovations pour le rendre plus agréable
